SECRETS OF ZYNPAGUA:
THE DEMON’S CURSE
A deafening scream filled the air,
The red light said, None shall be spared,
It was vengeance at its best
To stab from behind and not face the chest,
Deceit walked in concealed faces,
Leaving no clues or Traces,
The plan was to turn all into rust,
and breach the innocent trust.
Prologue
"Come to me, come to me,
What a ravishing beauty!
On your face is a queen’s gleam
Have you not seen me in your dream?"
Someone had been calling Femina continuously when she was with everyone in the cosmic rays region.
When Sussaina, Vivian, Leo and Lady Carol were returning to Zynpagua, Femina saw a hand behind the clouds, waving at her aggressively.
As she focused on the hand, it changed into flowers that sent mesmerizing fragrance to Femina. The fragrance was intoxicating. Femina felt her eyelids become heavy and then the same song began to enter her ears,
"The night dew and the whispering hue,
Are trying to give you some clue,
Come in our arms,
Behind the singing palms,
Walk on the clouds,
Shhh…not a word,
None should doubt,
Come to me, come to me"
Femina felt a strange sense of affection for the song. It moved Femina’s limbs rhythmically, making her dance on the clouds.
She had glanced once towards Vivian, trying to tell him about this enthralling song, when the flow of music increased in her ears, with entrapping lyrics saying,
"My mesmerizing beauty,
aren’t your eyes turning droopy,
Now quietly sleep while you walk,
Just listen to me, don’t talk
See your fairy land is waiting for you,
Of lovely roses, and a house on dew,
Be silent my lovely, listen to the whisper,
On the shimmering lake dances a creeper…"
Femina’s eye lids had felt heavy and she simply followed the song.
Sussaina, Lady Carol, Vivian and all others were preoccupied in shifting to Zynpagua, none noticed Femina quietly walking away. The song played on her mind and pulled her towards itself.
Grandma Sotina had met Femina on the way and had helped her walk on the clouds. Femina had tried asking Sotina why she was assisting her walk towards the song, but the lyrics enthralled her and she couldn’t ask Sotina.
Before her eyelids became heavy, she looked at Sotina once. She clearly remembered tears rolling down Sotina’s eyes.
Femina wanted to ask Sotina why was she weeping, but sleep took better of her and she dozed off, silently walking in her sleep.
Femina!
Grandma Sotina had called her once from behind.
Femina did turn, but being totally under the spell, couldn’t understand what to do. She simply gaped at Sotina’s despondent face.
It is our secret my darling. This risk you will have to take. I am hoping when we meet again, you will realize that this was for the good,
Sotina called out.
Femina wanted to respond but someone intervened, deliberately stopping her from interacting with Sotina.
The song pulled Femina again saying,
"Come to me, lovely queen,
Tell Sotina meeting her again will never be the scene"
Sotina probably heard the song and backed out. She immediately left that space, absolutely traumatized.
As soon as Sotina left, Femina got surrounded by jelly fishes, thousands of them, who gestured her to follow them.
Poor Femina was made to walk on clouds for miles together under the arrest of the jelly fishes.
After some time, she had felt a strong stench enter her nostrils and she lost consciousness.
In that state, she had slept for days together. Then one day she was woken by a woman all dressed in white accompanied by two assistants dressed in yellow.
The woman had asked her, Do you know King Soto and Vivian?
Femina nodded in a semi-conscious state and said, Yes, I know them very well. They are like my family. I hope they are fine. Why have you got me here?
The two assistants whispered softly, Madam, she still remembers her family
The lady in white raised her hand and asked the two assistants to be silent.
Then the lady dressed in white placed her palm on Femina’s forehead and said, Eraze!
Femina blankly looked at the lady.
The lady in white bent forward and peeped in Femina’s eyes. A lightning flashed from her eyes. Femina turned absolutely blank.
Do you know where Vivian is?
She asked again.
Who is Vivian?
Femina asked.
The two women in yellow clapped joyfully. She is in our team now,
one of them said.
Where am I? Who am I?
Femina asked, looking at the woman.
Your name is Femina and you are my daughter,
The woman in white said with absolute conviction.
I am your daughter?
Femina asked frowning a little. Her face revealed that even in a semi conscious state, she didn’t believe the woman.
Yes you are my daughter born to do a special task for us,
the woman replied.
If I am your daughter, why do I not know your name? I don’t remember having knowledge of any special skill,
Femina asked the woman.
My darling, you don’t remember your mother? Do you not remember how affectionately you called me daisy dew?
Femina tried straining her memory to recall the incidents of the past, but she felt she was scrolling through a blank screen. The people around unknown and mission unfathomable.
I cannot remember anything,
Femina told the woman in white.
You are my special daughter, an adept soldier, excellent in the art of fighting a war,
said the woman
Femina stared at the woman, unable to recall anything.
Horses?
The woman asked.
The mention of horses stirred something within her. She remembered the sense of triumph while riding a horse.
You don’t trust me?
The woman in white asked.
Femina looked at her blankly.
Guards!
The woman screamed aloud.
Two women, dressed in yellow, entered the room.
Bring the white stallion!
The woman in white, who introduced herself as daisy, said.
A handsome tall white stallion entered Femina’s room.
Femina’s feet got life seeing the stallion. She jumped out of the bed made with creepers and mounted the horse.
The white stallion neighed happily and galloped out.
Femina rode the horse over the mountains, racing with the rivers. She felt life was injected back in her lifeless body.
Daisy was following her. She came close to Femina and said, My daughter welcome to the original you!
If you say I am born for a mission, what is that mission?
Femina asked Daisy.
You have been given the special task of capturing Vivian and King Soto and bringing them here.
Who are they?
Femina asked Daisy, having forgotten everything.
They are real Villains, a threat to mankind. Only my daughter Femina can capture them and get them here,
said Daisy.
What will you do with them?
Femina asked Daisy.
Reform them and make them a part of our team. We need them!
Something stirred in Femina’s mind. She felt a surge of feelings which began to choke her. Overwhelmed with emotions, she fainted.

The Escape
T he mystic turquoise lake had witnessed the most valorous escape. The air signaled both hope and despair. Courage was being beaten down by the threatening scream of the Demon planets. Despite the gloom and the threat, there was a brave heart vigorously moving her sinews to escape death. While she was left alone in the lake to fight the evil forces, the mystic turquoise lake had decided to help this valiant girl to escape death.
Thus it secretly began to swell to ensure Anika floated on the crust of its waves. Anika’s gaze was fixed on the horizon while the lake was preoccupied in saving her.
Fly Leo fly and leave this sky!
Goodbye until we meet again!
Fl..y!
Anika was continuously uttering these words,
Leo please fly as fast as you can!
Dear Moon, please call the Sun soon," Anika prayed hard.
Leo had managed to escape from the mystic lake, holding Lady Carol and Sussaina in the folds of his arms. He regretted leaving Anika behind, but there was no other option. He had no time! Garnering his strength, he sped fast, hoping to leave the zone of the Demon planets soon.
Anika was watching him escape while still captured in the lake.
There was a sudden blast in the sky. The Demon planets began to omit fire and with one great blow, the fire fell on the lake, generating unfathomable turbulence.
Farewell Leo until we meet again.
Anika managed to utter these words before the lake water entered her mouth and pulled her in. She flapped her limbs and rose again, feebly trying to stay afloat. The flames that fell on the lake jeopardized its movement, making it unable to offer any help to Anika.
Without creating any further tides, the lake silently obeyed the Demon planets’ instructions and began to swallow Anika in.
Anika seemed to be in a state of trance. There was thunder, lightning and resonating boisterous laughter all around her, but her gaze was on Leo as he carried Lady Carol and Sussaina within the folds of his arms. Anika wasn’t depressed but a sense of triumph was overwhelming her. At least Leo had managed to escape.
Thank you God, for keeping my mother and Lady Sussaina safe,
Anika uttered under her breath.
A fierce, ear-piercing voice almost tore her eardrums. The Demon planets were screeching, Drudan, don’t let him escape!
Drudan’s creation, the green light, was making him fly like an eagle, aggressively chasing Leo. His gaze was fixed on Leo as he was steadily covering the distance between him and Leo.
Anika got nervous seeing Drudan’s fierce and vengeful face
Drudan threw a thunderbolt towards Leo and injured him.
Anika let out a cry, No!
on seeing Leo wounded. But Leo continued to fly, holding Lady Carol and Sussaina firmly.
Drudan can never catch Leo,
Anika murmured as the lake water began to pull her in again.
Leo had flown fast and had covered several miles in the night sky. He was now flying over the thin line of the horizon which had begun to signal the advent of the Sun.
Drudan was pursuing Leo at a very close distance.
Anika could see everything clearly. Her vision allowed her to see great distances, an ability she inherited from Sussaina.
She heard the Demon planets again, Drudan, don’t let your son escape. You are a man of stone heart and cold blood. There is no compassion and warmth in you. But your son has a very kind heart. Use his emotions and destroy him forever!
Anika almost froze, How will Drudan destroy Leo by using his emotions?
she thought.
While Anika was focusing on Leo, a huge wave erupted from the lake and splashed water on her, accompanied by the angry roar of the Demon planets.
Mermaid, where are you?
The Demon planets screamed.
The Mermaid swam closer to the image of the Demon planets in the sky.
You are a dimwitted useless woman, of no consequence to us!
The Demon planets screamed.
The Mermaid blankly gaped at the Demon planets.
The Demon planets screamed again,
Mermaid, if you cannot train Radhika, we will dump you in the Black hole,
said the threatening voice of the Demon planets.
Anika looked around, trying to locate the Mermaid.
The Mermaid was swimming at some distance from her and earnestly pleading to the Demon planets, Forgive me my Lord!
No!
roared the Demon planets.
If Radhika cannot be trained, you will die!
The Demon planets roared again.
This time the Mermaid lost her cool.
If I deserve to die, you deserve to be finished by the universe,
The Mermaid reacted with contempt. She couldn’t control her temper anymore. The draining atmosphere around the lake, Drudan’s ordeal and separation from MerDan, everything was taking a toll on her.
She did not wait for the Demon planets to threaten her again, instead, without even taking a breath, she simply screamed aloud, "You don’t know how to bring out the best in your followers. There cannot be a mind as scheming as mine. Trust me in my game and I shall bring you fame. You have made a mistake in judging my husband too. He is a brilliant scientist, a man with the best
