Quick and Easy Healthy Recipes Introduction
Fad diets can do more harm, than good. However, there are choices in diets, today, that are centuries old, proven effective and nutrition based. Whether is the Paleolithic Diet, the Gluten-Free Diet, the Vegan Diet, or a little bit of all, you can customize your own program with rich, nutrient packed foods that are delicious, great on your system and, as an added bonus, perfect for losing extra pounds. You will be introduced to the best ways to start to achieve your goals and fun along the way.
Incredible recipes that are guaranteed to tease and fulfill, will be found, categorized in the type of diet you are leaning toward. The Paleo way of eating has been in existence for at least 200,000 years, with people still living on this diet. It began to disappear once agriculture came along, switching inhabitants to grains and potatoes, instead of wild plants and animals, as food. Discover how the human body began to transform from changing their diet. Problems, such as depression, poor eyesight, bad teeth and obesity began to become prominent, after the change in diet.
The Gluten-Free Diet is an exciting look at how grain should sustain us, but has the opposite effect on thousands, if not millions of people. Of course, we would not have known about the negative effects of grain unless a few scientists and researchers did not begin to make a connection between digestive problems, arthritis, and mood alterations. As it turns out, allergies and sensitivities have been found in eating grain.
What we once considered a good form of fiber, can actually be harming systems, without even knowing it. This book not only explains the ramifications of a newly discovered disease, from eating grain, but offers how to keep your addiction to grain with a natural, little known product, that is abundant and inexpensive.
The third selection of diets, is the Vegan Diet. This way of life has been publicized and is a little more common, due to the fact that it is related to Vegetarianism, where no meat is allowed. However, there is nothing to say that you have to be a true and dedicated Vegan, as you will see in some of these recipes and meals. It will not hurt to mix and match a little here, and a little there, between these three diets. Everything that is used in these recipes, has been proven to be nutritional, mainly low carb and low fat.
Find almost any type of recipe that you wish to try. From entrees, salads, desserts, snacks and yummy smoothies, the ingredients will prove to be filled with vitamins, antioxidants, and be of great nutritional value. Cooking may be a favorite way of preparing foods for you, but there are also raw food dishes that are just as filling, and an excellent choice during the hot months of summer. Try a Pineapple Banana Drink that combines the great vitamins of pineapples, bananas and spinach, to get energized and ready for exercise. Cool evenings can also make you crave for something warm and relaxing. Take the Vegan Cocoa, for example.
Made with almond milk and cocoa powder, with a twist of cinnamon, what better way to enjoy a cool evening with an all-time favorite drink. Few calories, it will hit the spot, but not interrupt a good night's sleep.
The meals are one of the best parts of all. You are never deprived of good taste, excellent nutrients or an aesthetic-looking plate of mouth-watering selections that are sure to delight. Pasta Marinara is Vegan and gluten-free but contains enough vegetables and spices to make it a great meal for guests or the whole family. Guaranteed, no one will be hungry after the filling qualities of pasta, peppers, onions, carrots, celery, and more.
If you cannot live without your meat, you can lean more toward the Paleo meals that use some meat with a variety of fruits and vegetables,
