About the author
Dear reader,
I authored this book on the ride back from a skiing trip in Colorado during the winter of 2000. The trip was a good vacation, I had gotten to spend time with Seth, Jodi, and Kim on a fun filled adventure driving west. On the first day of that snowboarding adventure, I injured my knee and wrist. This novel is not finished and sometimes I consider it a false start. The next part or part two will be more interesting than the first. I think a revision to the first part will someday include a more balanced plot movement. Anyway, in any event, I hope you enjoy reading the beginning of this novel.

Chapter 1: On top of the world
The sun had started to set. In one moment, a warm sunset blanketed the big apple. The air was moist from the last nights light rain and the city seemed cleansed as David opened the door to his hotel room. It hit him today was the day he was going to deliver the most important series of letters that had gone out in his lifetime. If David did deliver that letter, then the world would change. This letter would create a council of nations. These businesspersons had no idea that they had been hand selected to represent certain respective continents as the founding members of what would become the last great political power the earth would ever know.
David’s selection to deliver the news was a surprise. He was the youngest of the initial code writers on the project. Who would have ever guessed that a software group would have been able to piecemeal together a set of code that could change the world?
