About this ebook

One night makes everything perfect

Siena

I am only here because of my PR job. I do not have time to be distracted by his chiseled jaw and perfect body. Or those tattoos. Who am I kidding? He's a successful race car driver so he will not give an awkward curvy girl like me a second glance. But he does. He won't take his eyes off me, and before I know it, I'm pressed against his muscular body, seeing promises in his eyes I know I shouldn't believe.

Rex

I have no interest in doing this stupid photo shoot and I want to get out of here in a hurry. That is, until I see Siena. Her gorgeous body and pouty lips make me rethink my self-imposed vow of celibacy. So when the female model doesn't show up, I pull Siena into the shoot with me. I'll use any excuse I can to get my hands on her curves and maybe just talk her into being mine for forever.

Can a jaded billionaire athlete and an ambitious career woman lower their defenses and take a chance on forever?

Steamy short insta love romance between a possessive man and the woman of his dreams. No cliffhanger, low drama, high heat, with a steamy sweet happily ever after.

    Falling Fast - Fern Fraser

    Chapter 1

    Siena

E verything okay, Siena? my friend Abbie asks, as I cough chocolate chip cookie crumbs into my fist. I swivel my office chair to face the wall while I recover. Abbie senses my distress, strides to the kitchenette closest to our cubicles and fetches me a glass of water. She hands it to me, and I nod in thanks, then cough some more.

All good Abbie, thanks, I murmur, wiping my watery eyes, before turning my attention to the tablet in my hand. I stare at the image of champion Formula One race car driver Rex Addison, and I can’t believe my eyes.

Beyond my initial shock at how insanely handsome he is, I can’t believe my luck. When Rex agreed to model for my campaign, I had no idea who he was. I mean, I knew who he was, but I’ve never really looked at him. Until now. This campaign will be a success for sure. No, a mega hit.

The premier PR and Marketing firm I work for recently signed a contract to handle advertising for a famous luxury watch brand. In fact, it’s a multimillion-dollar contract, and I’m in charge of the campaign.

The great news is, Rex Addison is perfect! He’s handsome as fuck, well-built, tall and sexy as hell. His features are symmetrical; he has great bone structure, high cheekbones and perfect skin. Dark wavy hair, that’s just scruffy enough to make him seem dangerous. He has deep blue eyes that hint at a sexy come-hither look.

He’s the ideal model for the target demographic. We all know the type. Middle-aged male executives who are successful, aspirational and ego driven.

Abbie cruises past me, glances at the tablet, and stops. She runs the logistics and travel department, and she’s a straight to the point kind of person. She tries to bite her lip to stop from laughing, but I know what she’s thinking.

Do you need a spare pair of hands to help on the shoot? I’m available, she sasses. Doesn’t matter what day it is. I’ll make myself available.

I shake my head and wave her on, scrolling through the next set of images. Surely, he can’t look this good in real life. Some people look better on camera, and I bet he is just one of those people. It’s all in the lighting, the magic of the camera, that kind of thing. I mean, he’s just too…..perfect.

A little bit of Facebook ‘research’ throws up images of Rex on vacation in exotic destinations. I expect to see him lounging around on a yacht, surrounded by gorgeous models, but I can’t find any of those types of pictures. All I can see is him trekking or water skiing or doing other action type things. His companions are teammates, or what look like family members. Interesting. I would have thought a famous race car driver like him would have women all over him. I don’t know, maybe he’s just discreet.

I have to transform his tough- guy leather action man thing into a sophisticated Euro type for the shoot. Rex’s forearms are inked. No doubt he has other ink, but I can work around it all with the right clothes. Gah, my head spins thinking of how much I need to do, and how little time I have to get it done.

We only have a four week lead up to the launch and it usually takes around three months to pull together a campaign this size. It takes time to pull together the perfect team, get the right venue and stars will need to align if we’re going to pull it off successfully.

According to his manager, Rex is currently in Monaco, celebrating a recent Grand Prix win. He isn’t due to land in the country for a few more days, which puts even more pressure on me to get things right. Ideally, he needs a few meetings with the stylist to arrange his wardrobe, but we don’t even get one meeting with him prior to the shoot. Even the legal team is working around the clock to get all the releases and copyrights in order so we can go live in a month.

    I’m not worried
