GAUGE: 5 sts = 1 inch; 6 rows = 1 inch

Directions are given for Ladies Small size. Change for Medium and Large sizes are given in parentheses. Mens Small, Medium and Large sizes are given in bold face type.

LADIES: 17½, 18½, 19½ inches

MENS: 21, 22, 23 inches

RIGHT ARMHOLE FACING: Work 2 and set aside. Cast on 7 sts (all sizes). 1st ROW: P across row. 2nd ROW: K 5, sl next st as if to P, K 1. 3rd ROW: P across row. Repeat last 2 rows until work measures 3½ inches ending with P row. Place on st holder.
