"Once upon a time, in the 24th century, there was a famous Chinese philosopher and ruler, called Wu Fat. He was many things, but he is reputed to have travelled through both time and space and lived in many eras. Over the years, there have been discoveries that have pointed to his existence, and there have been discoveries that have made no sense at all, unless one accepted that he lived in many times, many eras and in, perhaps, many different multiverses.

In fact, some of the works, or part works, that have been found and attributed to Wu Fat have related to his multiverse works and theories. And this takes us to the discovery of a special document recently, deep underground, sealed in a light chamber and believed to be many thousands of years old – even though its technology appears to be far in advance of ours. The document appears to be a single sheet of highly polished metal. It is surrounded by a strong field of light that protects the document from being scratched or touched directly. When one holds it in their fingers, one holds the light field. There is the slightest sensation of a buzzing in one’s fingertips. Nothing happens. But if you hold the document at a certain angle to
