John H.W. Rhein III
Author/Artist John Rhein was born in Richmond Virginia and raised in Seaford Delaware. He is married to the former Phyllis Betz of Garden City, New York, where the Rheins now live. They summer in Saunderstown Rhode Island. The Rheins had three children. One is deceased and two are married. John is a graduate of Virginia's Christchurch School '49 and Geneva New York's Hobart College BA '53. He spent two years with the US Army Medical Corps and entered the business world as an advertising executive with Benton and Bowles. John had a successful career spanning over 40 years, in media and investor relations with FORBES, FINANCIAL WORLD, and EQUITIES magazines. In1981 he started his own consultancy, The Investor Intelligence Group and he is now the owner of a Web-based publishing company, Green Rhino Pixelbooks: primarily featuring his own art and literary creations. His first book, "Who is Col. Chambers?" now in its second printing, is available through The Investor Intelligence Group, GreenRhinoPixelbooks.com, Xlibris and an Apple App. "Horseing Around With Col. Chambers" is the second in a series all featuring the mad cap antics of an eccentric fictional Victorian gentleman Col. Chambers, and his entourage of assorted animals. In addition to being amusing, ,John hopes the books will be educational.
