    ––––––––

Known as The Beer Capital of the World, Milwaukee is a lot more than beer and pretzels even though you can find more than 10 different breweries and brewpubs within the city limits.

Milwaukee, the largest city in Wisconsin, is the 30th most populous city in the United States. Visitors flock to Milwaukee every summer for the many festivals celebrating almost every ethnicity (German Fest, Irish Fest, Polish Fest) but the most famous of all is Summerfest, known as the World’s Largest Musical Festival.

Sports fans know Milwaukee as the home of two professional sports teams, the Milwaukee Brewers and the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Harley-Davidson Museum, one of Milwaukee’s most popular attractions, appeals to a wide audience from hipsters to rednecks.

Whereas in Europe you have real counts and barons, here the term beer baron can apply to any number of families with deep roots in Milwaukee. Milwaukee’s brewing history is reflected in names of local landmarks like Miller Park, Pabst Mansion, Pabst Theater, Pfister Hotel, and Schlitz Audubon Nature Center.

Milwaukee, a blue-collar town, also celebrates the workingman at the Grohmann Museum with the Man at Work Collection documenting the evolution of organized work over 400 years.
