Introduction To Pendulums

Learning about the world around you is vital to growing as a spiritual being. Pendulums are just one way to interact with the world around you and the worlds beyond yours. A pendulum is a simple form of divination. Learning how to work it for anybody of that age would be a huge benefit in your spiritual journey. This is a divination tool like tarot, Ouija boards, bibliomancy, tea readings, palmistry, and so on. Below explains the definition and the difference between several popular divination processes.

Ouija Board – Ouija boards are a board with the alphabet, a list of numbers, and a yes, no option. Using a planchette or sometimes a pendulum, one can connect to the spirit world.

Tarot Cards – Tarot cards are just that. Cards. They come in many different versions of the same 78 cards. The answers from the spirits are determined by the card that’s pulled, where it’s placed and how it’s placed.

Tea Leaves – After drinking a warm and delicious cup of tea, sometimes there are tea leaves left at the bottom of the cup. Reading the symbols, and shapes at the bottom of the cup is the basis for tea reading. Also called tasseography or tasseomancy, this is a popular method for divination.

Sand divination – This is also known as geomancy or reading the shapes in sand and stone. This is a beautiful art form of divination. Starting in the ancient east, it uses the vital energy or the aura of the earth to divine messages through the sand.

Scrying – This is one of the oldest methods of divination still used today. Scrying was and is practiced by many cultures throughout the world. This is using reflections to divine a message. Those that use scrying can use the reflections in water, ink, oil, mirrors, metals, obsidian, and much more.

Wax Readings – Reading candle wax is another form of divination. By dropping melted wax into a cold bowl of water, and reading the shapes that form is a way to get a message. The shapes are interpreted very similarly to tea leaves.
