A Journey with Matityahu - Living God Consciousness Book 2 - Lynne Cockrum-Murphy

    ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

I deeply appreciate all the loving and supportive people in my life who encouraged my writing and the completion of A Journey with Matityahu (Mathew) Book 2 – In God Consciousness.

The A Journey with Matityahu series speaks with enthusiasm for the possibilities for every person, affirming our inner knowing, inviting more questions and encouraging us to shift further into full awakening.

As the story shows Daniyyel’s continued transformation; you and I, like Daniyyel are in the spiritual transformative process increasing our knowing and seeing. As we live our spiritual practices of prayer, of talking with the Divine, meditating, and listening to the Divine, we are gently guided in our awakened lives. We examine and expand as we come to live in the purity of our True Selves.

With the help of my always supportive husband, Doug, along with my friends Sandy, Connie and Jan, the book is here and book 3 is not far behind. Thanks, goes to Brandi at Hollister Design Group for the layout and cover design, to Denise Cassino for her experience and guidance, and to Tom Bird for his writing retreats, without which it did not look like this book would get finished.

Also, thank you to all the people who told me my books spoke to them, who also told me the books are anointed and contain an important message for all who walk a path ready to hear and receive.

    – Lynne

    CHAPTER 1

    c1

    Side By Side

Married almost a year now, I realized Simone, my wife, was concerned she was not yet with child. She never said how much it worried her. As we talked, she looked upset when I told her everything would be fi ne. I suggested she could pray more, and that I would too. I thought she was going to smack me.

Despite her annoyance with me, she listened as I assured her, God heard our requests Simone. We are part of a plan set in place before we were born. We are in good hands even if it is not on our time schedule. Eventually, as we discussed our desire for a family, she looked relieved.

A few weeks passed, and once again she became preoc-cupied and withdrawn. I promised myself to make extra time to sit and talk, to hold her hand and wait for her to share her grief and fear that she was still not expecting.

Although I happily listened, it was not easy to console

her. What mattered most to me was that she was strong, healthy, vibrant and happy. That was enough for me. Not for her.

Now that Simone and I were forever united, few adjust-ments to our lives were required at least as far as I could see. Outdoor work was still new to me and not my true forte since I had made my living as a baker. However, maintaining our farm was my responsibility now too. I took direction for the farm work happily from Simone who had lived on her family’s farms all of her life. She always listened if I suggested a change and went with it if it made sense to her.

Critical to my happiness, she let me bake the bread for our meals, my customary role from when I lived every day running my bakery. Simone and I made a good team and her farm (now our farm) thrived.

Simone and I found companionship easy. Talking or silent we were at peace with each other. We worked side by side with the animals, the tools, and the laborers. I, for one, only wanted more. My cup was full and running over.

This was the happiest time of my life (besides that time, not so long ago, that Simone and her brothers accepted my marriage proposal).

And that’s not to mention the joy of sleeping through the night next to the love of my life. The intimacy of our bodies, our whispers, passions and discoveries which brought newfound pleasure to both of us and a deepening knowledge of each other.

    CHAPTER 2

    c1

    Matityahu

You might understand better if I fi ll in some of the back story leading up to this incredible life I have with Simone.

It started with my journey two years ago with my long-time friend, Matityahu. He and I explored cities, villages and farms while living on the road for forty-four days.

We met many kinds of people; had profound experiences leading to a new maturity in me plus expanded my appreciation of the amazing gift of life. Possibly, the absolute best and most important moment is when on that journey I met Simone.

As I spent more time with Matityahu, I found I was continuously fascinated with his application of his beliefs to all aspects of life. I questioned him all the time about his faith and his spiritual practice. It was mysterious and yet I knew that he knew much that I did not, and I wanted it.

Originally, I had been satisfi ed with my faith as taught to me as a child. Our journey deeply changed my understanding and faith that year.

His sense of knowing as we traveled always put us in the right place, at the right time, including the precise moments to intercede and help. Well, he did most of the interceding when it was needed as we journeyed to new lands.

I watched and marveled when it appeared just with his presence hysteria dissolved and fury faded. The mood of angry and judgmental people involved quickly changed in a matter of seconds. In addition, we always had the good fortune to meet people regularly whom we could help or who helped us.

That time period was magical. I know we are not
