About this ebook

A homewrecker is the last thing Teri wants to be. It’s a tainted label, and her future in the Dirty Fuckers MC in question. She’s totally replaceable, nothing more than a club whore and the cook who keeps their diner up and running.

Damon has been in love with Teri for a while, and deep down, he knows they want the same things from life. He’s seen the damage from her previous mistakes, and he’ll do everything in his power to make it right.

She tries to keep Damon at arm’s length, but he breaks down her walls. There’s no place for her, but being around Damon and experiencing his touch, the sheer power of his lust, there is no denying him.

He wants to own her, to claim her for his own, and the only way to do that is to make her. His perfect plan is to get her pregnant and marry her.

What he doesn’t anticipate is the possibility of Teri looking for a life outside of Greater Falls, away from the club, away from him.

Can he keep her?

    Chapter One

I’m a homewrecker, Teri said, throwing her head back with a sob.

Damon had been listening to the same words in one shape or form for the last hour. Staring at Teri, he wanted to do anything he could to comfort her, to offer some words of wisdom, but there were none.

There was no point telling her she was or she wasn’t.

The path Teri talked about involved herself, Dane, and Dane’s wife Lucy, who had happened to move on.

Damon rubbed at his temples. Just attempting to think about their whole drama was enough to give him a headache. The basic rundown was Dane slept with Teri while still married to Lucy, and Teri didn’t know. When Teri found out, she was devastated, and then of course got drunk, slept with him a second time, and well, it was that whole fool-me-once-shame-on-you and all that crap.

Lucy had since moved on with another relationship, and after Dane had reappeared after being gone for so long, everyone had moved on, apart from Teri. Lucy lived on a ranch with their two youngest children, while Ryan, their eldest, lived with Dane as he was having a hard time throughout his teenage years.

Damon could understand it. A dad’s disappearance for a couple of years, then reappearance, a divorce, and lots of blame could wreak havoc with any kind of kid.

Teri knocked back another shot, wiping at her eyes.

She looked different. Dyed red hair she’d cut to just above her shoulders, and she wore makeup, which he couldn’t recall seeing her wearing much. They sat in the diner the brothers had gotten for her. She’d moved with them to Greater Falls after they were responsible for trashing her other place of work and losing her a job.

Now she had a much more successful diner and even though it was partly owned by the Dirty Fuckers MC, none of the locals had a problem coming to enjoy the delicious food she made.

If I’d known we were going to have a pity party, I’d have gone and hung out with Dane, he said.

Teri shot him a glare. Then go and hang out with him. See if I care.

What brought all this on again? he asked, leaning forward. I thought you’d moved past this.

I have no right to move past anything.

He rolled his eyes. She was having a bad night. Are you on your period?

She wrinkled her nose. Seriously? I’m feeling rather emotional and tender right now, and you put it down to my monthly flow?

There’s no other reason for this. I get it. You have a ton of guilt when it comes to the whole Dane drama, but Lucy isn’t holding it against you. Why are you being a pain in the ass over this? There’s no reason to be.

But what if they would have still been married? Teri asked. What if they could have enjoyed a happy ending to their relationship and I took all that away? I don’t want to be the one responsible for it. Her shoulders slumped.

You can’t do anything to change that now.

She jerked up, sitting on high alert. But what if I can?

He shouldn’t help her with this, but his curiosity would be the death of him. What if you can what?

Bring Lucy and Dane back together. That would fix everything, right? I have absolutely no feelings for him. I know that. But if you look at Lucy and Dane, I think I can make it work. She clapped her hands together as if in excitement, and Damon couldn’t help but wince. Teri pulled out her cell phone and he quickly grabbed it.

    No.

Come on, Damon. Let me fix this. I need to do this.

No. What you need to do is go to bed to sleep. To let this all wear off.

Teri shook her head. No. I can’t do that. If I can make those people happy again, I’m going to do it. I need to do it. She folded her arms, looking so incredibly cute and stubborn at the same time. You can’t make me. This is amazing.

It’s not and you know it.

    It is.

What about Lewis? he asked. Lewis was the wonderful ranch owner who had fallen in love with Lucy hard. He adored her kids and had only wanted to make everything work out with Dane. Lewis was much better for Lucy than Dane ever was.

So, I will find someone for him too. Maybe my sister. Crap, she’s taken. She is happily married. She pursed her lips. Ah, Anna, she has a kid. I’m sure Lewis would love her.

Anna was the young woman who’d gotten knocked up by a mystery boss. He paid for the kid but had nothing to do with her. She had moved into an apartment with Teri and Kitty, but since Kitty had moved out to be with Caleb, they were now looking for a brand-new roommate.

How he managed to keep up with the general gossip running around Dirty Fuckers MC, he would never know. For a club that stayed out of all the crap that MCs usually delved into, it was a fucking miracle.

In the last couple of months, a couple of the brothers had returned from being on the open road and doing whatever shit they needed to. Adonis had returned from his final tour abroad. He’d come back not looking his usual happy self, several more scars and a mood to boot.

Grizzly was now back as well from taking another stint in Vegas for Ned Walker. He hadn’t been ready to leave the fighting life, and well, with his return, he was doing nothing but fucking his way through the club whores. It was like he thought they were going to run out of free pussy or something.

Then you had Big Daddy, Dimitri, and Charles who were also back. It was close to a full house.

Some of the guys liked to come and go. It was their thing not to linger in one town, but every now and then, a couple of the guys passed through, and some stayed from time to time. There was no need for them to stay in one place. It wasn’t like James demanded it of the brothers to be here all the time. He was a flexible prez. One Damon highly respected.

Anna, she is so sweet, Teri said. Don’t tell her I said that. She is so hard-working. I can’t believe I nearly gave the room to this young preppy guy. Kitty totally knew what she was doing when she picked Anna.

Maybe get Kitty to pick you a new roommate? Damon asked.

Teri gasped. That is so awesome. Again she went for her cell phone. I’ve got to tell Anna about it right now.

He checked the clock on the wall, and sure enough, it was close to three in the morning. Swiping her phone once again, this time he put it in his back pocket. Not happening.

    Hey, that’s my phone.

She was so drunk, her words were slurred, and he also noticed her swaying as she sat. This wasn’t good.

He folded his arms and watched her.

I need more to drink. She slammed her hand on the table and got to her feet. This was where he sprang into action because she was all over the place, knocking into things and not really focused at all. I don’t feel so good.

He’d been waiting for this moment, and as she nearly went to face plant the floor, he grabbed her, pulling her into his arms.

Her eyes closed and she released a little moan.

    I’ve got you.

Teri slumped, and he knew she had passed out.

What am I going to do with you? He pressed a kiss to her forehead and began to leave the diner.

Holding Teri in his arms, he managed to lock the shop up without dropping her, but it was close. Several times, he nearly had her on the floor. He refused to let her go though.

Carrying her up toward the clubhouse, he realized it wasn’t such a great idea as Teri was a little heavier than he thought she’d be, but no trouble. He passed Adonis, who was looking out at the night sky, and he gave him a single nod as he entered. The party had already died down. Several of the guys passed out naked with girls sprawled next to them.

He didn’t miss the partying way of life.

Damon carried Teri all the way up to his bedroom. Laying her down on the bed, he looked at her, passed out, and not wearing the frown that seemed to be constantly on display for the past couple of months.

He got it. The guilt wore her down, but everyone else had moved on. He hoped she did as well.

Shit happened. She didn’t need to constantly feel guilty. Lucy had moved on. Dane was back and moving on. It was time for Teri to understand she could move on as well.

The party animal she’d once been was long gone.

He’d seen the change inside her over the years, and if truth be told, she’d never really been a fun-loving club whore. Damon knew she’d slept with a couple of the brothers, and he was okay with that.

She’d stopped sleeping with them some time ago, and if he had a problem with that, he wouldn’t want to settle down with her, wouldn’t want Teri to be his. He knew her history as she had an inkling of his own.

He was no saint, nor was she.

Tucking her hair back, he knew deep down if she gave him a chance, he’d blow her mind the way she needed.

Until then, he was going to continue to take care of her. It seemed to him that no one else ever had.

    ****

Teri woke with her brain thumping to get out of her skull.

She sat up in bed, eyes still closed, rubbing at the part of her head that refused to cooperate and be a normal head. Wincing, she tried to open her eyes, but they were not happy with the bright light coming in between the small slit of the open curtain.

With her gaze now focused on her surroundings, she noticed this wasn’t her room and Damon stood by her side, holding out his hand and a glass of water. Here, take these. He dropped two pills into her hand.

    I don’t take drugs.

Damon snorted. They’re not drugs. They’re painkillers, the kind you can get over the counter without any trouble at all.

She slipped them into her mouth, swallowing the water.

He surprised her more when he turned and suddenly produced a tray with breakfast on it. Toast, fresh fruit, and orange juice. Her mouth watered.

    I figured you’d be hungry.

    She was.

Being hungover always made her so. With the tray on her lap, she picked up a piece of toast and immediately bit into it. The toast was dry but that was fine. She ignored the butter he’d placed on the side.

She knew her body wouldn’t be able to eat the grease. Even a small slather of it across the surface of her toast. After picking up the fork, she pierced a piece of apricot and popped it into her mouth.

As she glanced up at Damon, he sat down on the edge of the bed, looking at his cell phone.

Do you want to eat something? she asked.

No. This is for you. I’ve already eaten. Beauty made me one of her breakfast sandwiches.

    Teri froze.

She knew Beauty, the latest club whore to stay at the club. The woman was a beauty. Flawless skin, a natural blonde, the brothers claimed, and what was more, she was nice. It was hard to hate her, but knowing she’d made Damon a sandwich pissed Teri off. Of all the people within the club, why did Beauty have to single out Damon? Why him? There were plenty of willing men who’d do anything to fuck the young woman.

Damon was a sexy guy, glasses and all. He had this way about him that put everyone at ease. He was a natural.

She picked up her orange juice, watching Damon as he typed on his cell phone. There was so much she wanted to say to him,
