To begin with, I would like to break down the title of this book.

BEYOND

at or to the further side of

RATIONAL

based on or in accordance with reason or logic

REALM

a field or domain of activity or interest

To put it in perspective, let us say the title heavily suggests that this book is about going to the further side of logic to a field of activity or interest.

The interest part depends on you and whether this subject matter is for you at this stage of your life.

This book might challenge you and push you in a new direction that will test the left side of your brain where logic resides.

The right side of your brain where forward thinking and imagination thrives might rejoice in this book, whereas the left side of your brain might get a little depressed knowing that logic will be tested and challenged.

Let me explain.

I’m a conservative Catholic who possesses an analytical, structured, scientific, and skeptical mind who wandered into the world of metaphysics by discovering gifts of mediumship, clairvoyance, psychic, and intuitive abilities in my mid-fifties, strictly by what I thought was accidental.

I did not grow up knowing I had these gifts unlike many other mediums, psychics, and clairvoyants who knew at an early age that they possessed special gifts. I did not grow up walking up to strangers telling them that grandma says hello, as I disappeared into a fog or mist.

WHAT’S GOING ON?

See if any of the below applies to you . . .

You are standing in the kitchen and suddenly you see something out of the corner of your eye; you turn and look but there is nothing there.

You hear voices sometimes so clear that you swear someone else is in the house even though you are alone. You smell perfume that your mother use to wear, even though she died years ago.

You see the same sequence of numbers repeatedly on your watch, clock, and even the license plate on the car in front of you.

You have dreams of people, places, and things that you’re not familiar with, only to experience some of those ‘dreams’ in the physical world.

You are not going crazy nor are your eyes deceiving you or playing tricks on you. You are not imagining things that you think are just not there.

THE UNEXPLAINABLE

What if there were worlds that we couldn’t see, couldn’t feel, and couldn’t hear until we actually sat down for a moment and considered the possibilities that the reality that we know, which seems to be physical and rational, starts to give way to other ‘realities’ that seem to be non-physical and irrational?

Irrational, at least for the moment.

I’ve ‘discovered’ things that I cannot explain; experiences that I had never felt, gifts that I never knew I had, spiritual beings that are helping me that I never knew existed, and healing that I never knew could be possible. Consider the implications that some of the things you knew or thought you knew could be changed.

This thin veil between the physical world that we find ourselves in and the Spirit world can be lifted and explored if we’re open to what lies beyond and if we’re strong enough to accept it or at least keep an open mind about it.

To lift the veil, this book will explore a few ‘strands’ that are represented by areas of our everyday lives.

Reading how the Spirit world influences and impacts these areas you will start to part some of the strands that make up the veil.

The five ‘strands’ that this book will explore are . . .

• RELIGION, VIBRATIONS, IMAGINATION, ENERGY, THOUGHTS. There are a multitude of strands to investigate but these five are a good start as this is exactly where I started my journey.

There is also an opportunity to meditate on the ideas, information, and thoughts that will present themselves at the end of each of the chapters.

One last cautionary note . . . lifting the veil is not like flipping a light switch off and on. Think of it more like a dimmer switch; the more you turn the dimmer, the more it illuminates the area and awakens your sixth sense, but not all at once.

Having an awakening experience sometimes goes very slowly; so, go at your own pace, process what you see, hear, and experience, and enjoy your journey. Peace.
