      It is time

      The man feels the breeze on his cheek

      The air is warm enough

      It is time

      Time to lift the sheets

      Sweep the dust, sand the rust

      So, he opens the door

      And removes all the boards

      No more blocking the sun

      He brought tools

      Some fresh paint and a brush

      The new coat makes them look almost real

      The chrome is shiny again

      He moves the level and the engine roars

      The floor starts turning

      The music plays

      Announcing the up-and-down race

      He smiles

      His childhood memories flood his mind

      He loved to come here when he was a boy

      It was his favorite place, all summer long

      He remembers seeing his grandfather

      Welcoming the crowd

      Soon it will be him doing the same

      The laughing and the cheering

      Will fill
