God Nods on His Story About Me

About this ebook
God Nods on His Story About Me describes how God orchestrated the "good, bad, and ugly" experiences in my life to accomplish His purpose for me:
"We know that God causes all things to work together for the good of those who love Him and are called to His purpose." (Romans 8:28)
Whenever I recall the "bad" and "ugly" things in my life, I ask: But Why Me Lord? No answer makes sense except this one: unless "good, bad, and ugly" things occurred, I could not share His Story About Me. Looking back on my life with 20-20 hindsight, I know Romans 8:28 is true. This inspired me to write my Spiritual Memoir. My experiences over nearly eight decades can benefit you:
- I struggled about coming to Jesus "just as I am" – and "giving up my lifestyle" and "Self-centeredness." [Are you struggling with this?]
- I went through a Learn-Unlearn-Relearn Process several times before Becoming a Born Again Christian. [You can use this Process to make needed personal transformations.]
- I experienced hard Lessons Learned and gained Spiritual Insights. [My experiences can prevent you from having to discover what I discovered by trial-and-error.]
- I gained intellectual faith to support my saving faith in Jesus. [This can help you rectify any blind faith you might have.]
- I realized that I cannot Be or Behave "good enough" to merit Becoming Born Again. [Have you realized this? This took me over 20 years.]
- I accepted this Way-Truth-Life that Jesus proclaimed: [Have you?] "I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6)
- I came to know with certainty that there is no alternative to Jesus – like the apostle Peter proclaims: [If you're uncertain, you need not be.] "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God." (John 6:68-69)
- I came to understand the "free gifts" a Believer receives when you Become Born Again and Spirit-inspired Being-Behaving Transformations you can make to align your "faith-and-walk" [portrayed in the Cross Model].
God gives Believers Spiritual Gifts to edify one another. He gave me the Gift of Teaching, which started when my Mom and Dad told me: "You've learned what to do. Teach your younger sisters." I've always been a Learner and Teacher. These go together, for the best Teachers are the best Learners. You'll read about how avid a Learner I've always been (e.g., top 4% in my high school and university graduating classes; studied the Bible and worldviews for over 40 years).
God enabled me to combine my love of Learning (my avocation) by Teaching this as a professor and corporate trainer (my vocation) – for over 50 years! I've always enjoyed the many hours of Learning (reading, analyzing, reflecting, synthesizing, connecting details to the big picture) to prepare for Teaching, where I've seen the impact on other learners. So, writing my Spiritual Memoir has been a real joy for me.
I'm stating all this upfront because God orchestrated His Story About Me so that I can now Teach you what I've learned, unlearned and relearned over nearly eight decades.
- So, if you want to benefit from what I'm going to Teach, CONTINUE READING!
- If you don't want me to Teach what I've Learned, STOP READING NOW!

William A. Gray, Ph.D. While approaching my eighth decade, I’ve looked back on the good and bad times. I realize God caused ALL things to work together for my good – because He loves me and I love Him (Romans 8:28). I'm authoring books and online courses to share Lessons Learned and Spiritual Insights that He has orchestrated for me – so others can benefit from what I Learned, Unlearned, and then Relearned multiple times. My fiction Trilogy is based on the concept of God Nods – God-orchestrated events that fulfill His Purpose. Book #1 – God Nods on True Love – Main characters pursue different types of love with different consequences. Two become helpmates who stand up to Naturalism/evolution, while two others become companions for new adventures. Book #2 – God Nods on Truth –Main characters “wake up” readers to the “woke culture” and stand up to “political correctness.” Book #3 – God Nods on Destiny –Main characters confront Islam’s aim to dominate Western Civilization. Socrates lived nearly 2500 years ago (470-399 BC). His famous maxim is still true today: “The unexamined life is not worth living.” My non-fiction books focus on topics relevant for living an “examined life” today: God Nods on His Story About Me idescribes the God Nods in my life – the people and events that God orchestrated. It describes what I Learned, had to Unlearn, and then Relearned multiple times as I went through radical transformations (from practicing Religious Legalism, to embracing do-my-own-thing Humanism, to becoming a Born Again Christian). Understanding Worldviews contrasts eight very different worldviews and helps readers “ask questions” so proponents must defend what they believe. Email: ChristianMemoirs@shaw.ca
