About this ebook

In the 1970's people laughed at me because I was rude, crude, crass, loud-mouthed bigot...

Today I would be leading the field of GOP Presidential candicates.

Be careful when you blindly follow the masses... Sometimes the 'M' is silent.

I was born before in the city of Shimla, the official summer capital of the British Raj in India. My father had moved there just before India secured independence from a small village called Nalagarh to start his own business as a textile merchant and to provide a better standard of living for his young family. Shimla was more like urban area. After completing my school education in Shimla, my parents moved to the capital of India called Delhi, and I moved with them to the capital New Delhi to attend Delhi University, graduating in 1966. After completing my studies, for two years I worked for a major investment bank in their international trading division as one of the senior officer, but the reward wasn’t good enough. I decided to move, and after leaving, I started an export/import business in textiles with very limited capital. In this business, there was a great deal of travelling to the Far East and Europe. By the late 1970s, I owned a number of retail shops in Regent Street, London, which led to my business expanding to import/export retail products internationally. Simultaneously, I started a care home business in the UK, which at its peak, comprised of six care homes with £5 million turnover. I have built up a small property portfolio for rental purposes. Thanks to the management team that I have trained over the last few years, today I am able to overlook all my interests without having to be involved on a day-to-day basis. Since semiretiring, I have pursued my passion for golf, and in the interest of philanthropy, in 2005 I founded the annual Yash International Charity Golf Day in aid of Cancer Research UK and have been a successful fund-raiser for this charity ever since. This year we celebrated eleven years since its inception. Over the last four years, I have been awarded PHD from USA and never thought this experience would be the catalyst for this book. As you can imagine, all my business activities spanning the last four decades have required a great deal of commercial restructuring. With all that I have personally sacrificed over four decades, I decided to put my own experience in the public domain so people can learn and see how they can improve and restructure their businesses for commercial benefit and for the stakeholders. Today’s business world is faced with an increasing number of factors across a broad range of industries. Increasing competition, overseas production, technological change, and global economic change can all contribute to a crisis situation with serious operational and financial challenges. Restructuring I call it solution (a very viable tool) and it is always a win-win situation. In a situation where a company is going through complex business problems, it helps to boost their performance, also enhancing enterprise’s value and optimize their competitive edge. In the face of rapid globalization, the fundamental objective of corporate restructuring is to reposition an organization against the high tide of business failure and maximize shareholder value. I am sharing what I have learned in my own experience in the real world. Restructuring is a way to go forward; it is the survival kit. When the companies are heading towards failure.

As a lawyer and having a keen interest in U.S. politics, this time I can say with total honesty my father has really gone above and beyond with the amount of meticulous, painstaking research he has undertaken to ensure this book provides an accurate and unbiased point of view. Writing about an individual who has attracted (and continues to) such polarising public opinion around the entire world is no simple undertaking. Let me quote something very interesting from his manuscript:

During the election speeches, he said he was contesting the election to clean the swamp. But instead, he ended up being the kingmaker of that swamp. During the Donald Trump presidency, inclusion was missing. Having said that, inclusion is a fancy word for human decency. I strongly believe that decency is the bedrock of defining what makes us human. It doesn’t mean being nice to everyone. It means being fair to everyone. It’s the care given to people who one is associated with in everyday dealing. That is where the inclusion comes in. What a wonderful place this world would be. That wasn’t the case with Trump.

Here, I would like to mention that I am not a Democrat nor a Republican. I am very independent in my views. All the narratives in this book are facts. Donald Trump’s role as president of the USA was nothing but lies, deceptions, and misrepresentation of facts. He misled the Americans and the whole world. The USA, being the most powerful country in the world, to have had a president of his calibre raises lot of questions.

Yet it is my opinion this book will provide any reader with a fascinating insight and guarantee plenty of thought-provoking analysis. This definitive account of the forty-fifth person to hold the highest office of the president of the United States of America is a must-read and will undoubtedly, in time, serve as one of the most authoritative accounts. PREFACE

    49333.png

Studying the history of Donald Trump, that is from his immigrant grandfather, does not necessarily indicate that at one time, there were prospects of him becoming the president of a powerful nation like United States. However, the business-savvy nature of his father Fred Trump paved way for him to become the billionaire that he is at the moment. This is despite the fact that Trump himself has constantly distanced his current achievement from his father. Before Trump became a household name globally, he was known to be a powerful businessman who dealt in a number of businesses. When Trump took office to become the U.S. President, one of his imminent vices that the world previously did not know about came out in the limelight, and this showed that, indeed, he wasn’t the perfect man that everyone thought he was. This vice is his deeply-rooted nature of lying.

It is universally known that people hate being lied to by anyone, even if the other person is in a dire situation and feels like the only way out is by lying. Being lied to by a friend and family member often hurts; however, being lied to by a chief and prominent individual in a position of power every time rubs off wrongly. Trump has a formed habit of lying about all his life affairs, especially his part of life that directly impacts the masses like Americans. Some of his lies include when he outlines that he started off his empire after borrowing $1,000,000 from his father, which helped him begin and finish up his first construction project, additionally when Trump indicated that at no point did his father come through to help him in business. This statement is, indeed, a white lie because it was seen on numerous occasions that Fred Trump came through to help Donald whenever his businesses were sinking. More than once did Trump’s businesses reach the point of bankruptcy, and in all those instances, Fred Trump loaned him money to resuscitate his businesses. To add on that, Fred Trump was instrumental in ensuring that Trump’s businesses got itself good deals with the federal government and other prominent businessmen, and for this reason, his businesses flourished.

Trump’s lies are not only seen in his businesses but also in his personal life. Trump’s lies could not allow him to maintain his marriages. His first marriage ended in a divorce. Similarly, his second marriage ended in divorce because of cheating. Currently, he is in his third marriage. Although the marriage seems to have survived for some time, it has not been free from faults as on numerous occasions, Trump has been associated with a number of clandestine lovers. These lovers were paid large amount of money or threatened to be killed so that they would be silent and not expose their affairs to Melania Trump. In other words, we can say that Trump’s third marriage is on the verge of collapsing.

The book majorly details Trump’s life, from his genesis to where he is at the moment. In all these accounts, one thing that stands out is Trump lies in all aspects of his life. It’s important to note that the book brings out some of the tiniest details about Trump that you did not know about and some that you know already but the details are deeply and thoroughly examined.

It is no longer news to the world that Trump is a fraud, a liar, a cheat, a racist, a bully, a con man, and with the recent Capitol Hill attack, where people fought and died at his command, he can also be named a predator. All these aspects are outlined in the book as the incidences bring to you clearly who the real Donald Trump is.

Trump’s rise to the most coveted position in the world, as the president of a powerful nation, did not come naturally and honestly. As is his nature, he lied his way up the ladder. Trump conspired with corrupt world leaders, especially the former Soviet Union leaders, to help him in winning the 2016 presidential elections. While there have been foolproof evidence to show that Trump conspired with these leaders to rig elections, at no point has Trump ever agreed to have worked with Vladimir Putin and his associates in interfering with the U.S. presidential elections.

Aside from Trump’s nature of lying, it’s crucial to note that he has poor interpersonal relations. This flaw was clearly seen on how he ruled United States. Trump was disrespectful to his subordinates. He cut all international ties that America had with other nations, including significant ties such as the Iran treaty, which greatly impacted the security of the whole world. Trump did not for a second think about the security of the United States and the world and how breaking such ties would also affect the prices of goods. All he wanted was to erase the legacy of his predecessor U.S. President Obama because of their differing political standing and opinion.

When Trump took office as the president of United States in 2017, he vowed, just like all the other previous presidents, that he would be the president of all Americans. However, in his tenure, it was widely known that he ruled divisively and made the United States of America the divided states of America. Trump divided America into the blue states and the red states, whereby red Americans were in support of him. They consisted of white supremacists and majorly Republicans. On the other hand, blue Americans consisted of Democrats and young highly-educated individuals.

In the past, the red and blue states indicated the states in which the voters predominantly chose Republican Party candidates (red) or Democratic Party candidates (blue). Over the years, the two terms have been used constantly to indicate the states that are regarded as conservative and those regarded as liberal; however, previous presidents ruled in a bipartisan way without neglecting any base of voters. When Trump took office, he decided to use the two terms so that he could rule United States in a divided manner. Trump chose to be a partisan leader, who highly regarded Republicans and scorned the Democrats.

His divisiveness could be seen clearly during the COVID-19 pandemic and how he handled it. In a speech in which he was responding to the death toll that had occurred because of the pandemic, he indicated that the number of deaths reported in America was much lower compared to other nations. This, he said, pointing out that one needed to ignore the death toll that was recorded in blue states, those majorly filled by Democrats, and consider only the death tolls in red states. This statement revealed that Trump majorly considered himself the president of red Americans and not the United States of America. Aside from this, other major incidences that constantly occur in America, such as crime, immigration, street violence, among other issues, were dealt with Trump basing on what states they originated. Such that if the incident came from a red state, it would be dealt with well; however, one originating from a blue state would be blamed upon the mayor and governor. Additionally, time and again, Trump was seen approving and rewarding Americans residing in red states while disapproving these who were living in blue states and even punishing them when necessary.

Trump divided leadership reached a point in which frequently he chose to attack Democrat governors and mayors. He also chose to penalise California for not adhering to the environmental policies that are way above the standard that the federal state had set. This is because he considers California to be a deep-blue state. Moreover, Trump is known to raise the taxes of high-income individuals residing in blue states compared to their counterparts in red states. Donald Trump went as far as changing his place of residence, from New York (a blue state), which had been hit hard by the changes in tax, to Florida (a red state), where the tax laws barely affected them. Trump went on to urge his supporters to leave New York and move to Florida.

Mary L. Trump, Trump’s estranged niece, indicated in her book that Donald suffers from malignant narcissism, a narcissistic personality disorder that stems from how he was brought up by Fred Trump. This allegation can be linked to how he handled the 2020 presidential election loss. Trump almost lost his mind as he could not picture himself out of the White House and the privileges that had been accorded to him while he was president. And for this reason, he manufactured lies to help him convince the public to denounce the presidential election results. Because of this, a pact of his supporters heeded to his outcry and decided to fight on his behalf. Some ended up dying, others ended up with severe injuries, while others ended up in prison for being part of an insurrection. All these happened while he and his family were all safe in the White House. This is despite the fact that he had earlier outlined that he will be with his supporters to stop the electoral counting of votes.

Because of Trump’s major involvement in inciting insurrection and creating unrest at Capitol Hill during the Electoral College counting of votes, a number of investigations have been opened against him. Some of the major cases involve his tax fraud, which has been an issue of contention over the years. Another case has been about his involvement with the election crimes, while other cases are driven by the FBI. Although, in the past, Trump seemed to be untouched, the recent compounding problems suggest otherwise.

There is no doubt that Trump has time and again used his position and power wrongfully to be able to attain his goals without considering the consequences. With this book, you, our esteemed reader, will be able to identify the lies that have often been used by Trump to gain public sympathy, and at the end of it, you will be able to determine on your own whether he was a worthy leader or a mistake that the United States should not repeat ever.

    CHAPTER 1

    49335.png

    Introduction

Donald Trump is one of the most powerful men to ever rule in the United States. Despite the power entrusted to him, a lot of discrepancies and controversy revolve around him. This book will majorly delve on the roots of Donald Trump, his businesses, and his political and familial dealings to outline his shortcomings as a leader and the lies he’s been feeding the masses unknowingly.

Donald Trump was born on 14 June 1946 in Queens, New York. Trump’s ancestral origin can be traced back in Germany, where his grandfather Friedrich Drumpf was from. He moved to the United States in 1885 and later got married to a German lady named Elisabeth Christ. The union between Friedrich and Elisabeth resulted in Donald’s father Fred and other siblings. Fred got married to Mary Anne MacLeod who originated from Scotland. Fred and Mary together had five children: Donald, Maryanne, Fred Jr, Elizabeth, and Robert.

Fred Trump Sr initially built his career as a real estate mogul in the 1900s. This happened through building construction projects that he was involved in Queens, Brooklyn, parts of Virginia and Pennsylvania during the World War 2. Later in his years, Fred suffered Alzheimer’s disease, and in 1999, he died. The following year his wife Mary Anne MacLeod died.

In his education, Donald Trump went to Fordham University in New York for two years before he was admitted to the University of Pennsylvania to attend Wharton School of Business. Throughout most of his education, Trump learnt in military high school and escaped serving the military by a whisker. Trump is known for his abrasive and aggressive personality. He seemingly enjoys insulting and derogating people in public. This behaviour has made him unpopular among various individuals put off by his nature.

A New York Times investigative article in 2018 revealed that Donald Trump received approximately US$40 million as inheritance from his father’s empire in real estate and businesses. This set the pace for him to dominate the business world. It’s critical to note that most of the money that Fred Sr acquired was from the help of his son Donald who helped him dodge tax. Numerous sources state that Donald Trump was involved in several questionable tax schemes, outright fraud that helped him and his family amass great riches.

Several occasions, Donald Trump has been quoted stating that his father Fred Trump did not play any part in aiding him become a self-proclaimed billionaire. However, numerous sources outline that Trump inherited a huge sum of money from his father’s real estate business. Several investigations carried out revealed that Donald Trump, together with his siblings, was creating sham corporations to disguise their parents’ millions of dollars to evade tax. Currently, there are records outlining out how Trump assisted his father in carrying out improper tax deductions. Additionally, he developed a strategy that was meant to help undervalue the real estate holding that his parents owned by several hundred millions of dollars.

As is with all families throughout the world, there exist family secrets that most would choose they remain carpeted. This is no farther from Trump’s family. There are a number of family secrets that have been recently revealed by Donald Trump’s niece Mary L. Trump in her all-revealing book, When Too Much and Never Enough, about Trump’s family. It’s evident in the book that Trump’s family is not united to the larger family, and most of them hold distaste towards Donald Trump. In the book, the author
