Even the United Nations has ignorantly become the totalitarian-oriented monster it was originally formed to fight, betraying any intelligent, reasonable, and historically contextual reading of its own 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights by aggressively promoting legal human-killing by abortion (abortion which was condemned as a crime against humanity in the trials of Nazi doctors at Nuremberg in the same year of 1948 – also the same year the Declaration of Geneva reiterated the traditional doctors’ Hippocratic Medical Tradition to do no harm out of "the utmost respect for human life, from the time of conception"). Canadian intellectuals like Professor Jordan Peterson and this author have been forced to stand up for democratic Freedom of Speech precisely because of living under politicians so uneducated in Human Rights History (and Logic) that they can no longer tell the difference between totalitarianism and democracy.

This author has talked to so many immigrants who used to live in totalitarian States (like the USSR and its Warsaw Pact Atheist Communist allies), who recognize certain recent Western political and educational trends as totalitarian, and they remark to this author how ignorant it is for people to think totalitarianism could never happen here in the Free West. Most people simply do not know enough about Human Rights History (or Logic) to even realize how seriously threatened our modern democracies are by politicians unwittingly and obliviously dismantling democracy’s very foundations without having any idea what they are doing. Voters are still voting for them because after decades of public education regulated by governments which have lost touch with the historical and logical Foundational Principles of Human Rights and Democracy identified herein, many of the voters also can no longer tell the difference between totalitarianism and democracy.

Two university academic department chairs who were sent the original treatise encouraged this author to publish this Human Rights Education content, and a world-class religious freedom expert and university lecturer told this author your work is crucial. no worth, less or no rights have failed to distinguish what

constitutes an abominable atrocity that must be prosecuted

(like the legal abortion first legalized by the genocidal

States did not believe killing humans is wrong).

away normal democratic freedoms just because they do

not even know The Foundational Principles of Human Rights

We can lose our Western freedom so fast that some places have taken only mere weeks to introduce and pass new totalitarian-oriented legislation which in some places means that peaceful Pro-Life Human Rights Advocates (including this author) can be arrested and jailed just for peacefully expressing their Traditional Western, democracy-grounding beliefs that killing humans is wrong – or for speaking scientific facts which similarly do not support ruling party ideology - all because the West has forgotten The Foundational Principles of Human Rights and Democracy identified from Human Rights History, Science, and Logic (and the History of Ideas) in this book.

March 2020 Update: Yet another region in the author’s country just adopted such totalitarian laws against normal democratic freedoms of speech, expression, assembly, conscience and religion, setting a new record for totalitarian bills being introduced and passed into law – this time in only 8 days, from March 2-10, 2020. We really can lose our Western freedom faster than we ever imagined under officially Pro-Choice political parties and politicians who are clueless regarding The Foundational Principles of Human Rights and Democracy.

April 2020 USA Update: At least since 2015 in this author’s country, now-officially Pro-Choice political parties no longer allow Pro-Life Human Rights advocates to join these parties, and they undemocratically muzzle or whip into silence the duly-elected representatives of the people who are Pro-Life Equal Human Rights for All Humans advocates already in these parties. Similarly, in the USA on April 8, 2020, the officially Pro-Choice party of one state (Tennessee) actually ejected from the party a 26-year incumbent African-American elected Representative and State Legislator because he dared to vote Pro-Life and so no longer represented current party values – because officially Pro-Choice political parties no longer have party values which include the equal human preciousness nor the Equal Human Rights for All Humans which ground free democracies. So old guard party members who do not share the newer aggressively Pro-Choice legal human-killing ideology must be purged to keep the party ideologically pure and without free-thinking variety – just like in the Soviet totalitarian One-Party System which first legalized human-killing abortion, in 1920.

Shortly before printing 2020 Update: Scottish Member of Parliament Dr. Lisa Cameron was given a death-threat aimed towards an elderly member of her family (plus tons of online abuse from Pro-Choicers) for voting Pro-Life. This recent incident recalls how in 2019’s Covington Boys Fake News Scandal, Pro-Life minors were falsely made to look like racists with a heavily-edited video, and Pro-Choicers, without checking the facts, immediately deluged these Pro-Life kids’ whole families with on-line death threats, and doxed them (publishing information to help them be found in the real world, to help anyone who wanted to follow up on the death threats, or otherwise harass them). This immediate, hateful and violent reaction from large numbers of Pro-Choicers without checking facts first, is not even surprising, for two reasons:

1. If Pro-Choicers generally had any honest interest in facts, they would not be Pro-Choice. As demonstrated by the overwhelming facts collected in this book, which prove Pro-Life equals Pro-Democracy and Pro-Choice equals Pro-Totalitarianism.

2. Such violence is inherently Pro-Choice, because the Pro-Choice legal abortion political position is specifically for the bigoted choice to kill humans you do not want to recognize as humans with equal Human Rights. Abortion is a choice first made a legal choice in totalitarian Soviet Russia and its wide sphere of influence, then next made legal in totalitarian Nazi Germany; totalitarian (and genocidal) regimes which had no interest in either Human Rights or Democracy; totalitarian States which did not believe that killing is wrong.

Battle lines are indeed being drawn, and the Nobel Prize-winning Russian historian Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn reminds us of the urgent need for everyone’s self-reflection because politics is just the collective reflection and result of the fact that

The battleline between good and evil runs through the heart of every man.

Thus every human (every voter) needs to come together with other voices to together bring forth the good – and insist on it from the elected representatives who in a healthy democracy represent the people’s democratic self-rule.

Every citizen of the Free West needs to examine their hearts and their minds in relation to the Abortion Debate (The Human Rights for All Humans Debate), because legal abortion is the touchstone issue for determining the genuineness and quality of any Free Democracy, because Democracy is historically and logically based on equal human preciousness which means killing humans is wrong.

Current political trends have polarized and bifurcated Western societies into two divided camps that find it increasingly difficult to work together fruitfully, threatening world political stability, because the two camps are ultimately motivated by two distinct underlying philosophical worldviews, which can be traced all the way back to a split in Western thought in the 17th Century, discussed in the Philosophical Phootnote at the end of the Chapter 11 Solutions. Today’s polarized societies disagree on several issues which tend to line up together with one’s position on the Abortion Debate – which position itself tends to move society forward in Living History either toward future democracy or future totalitarianism. Why should any humans be given a vote or democratic say in their own governance long-term, if humans do not even have a legally recognized Inherent Human Right to Live because abortion is legal? And indeed, because abortion is legal, this author and other scholars and Human Rights Advocates are not free, but can now be arrested and imprisoned for saying killing humans is wrong because Human Rights are for all humans or for stating established scientific or historical facts about abortion anywhere remotely near a human-killing abortion facility – just like people in Nazi Germany were arrested and imprisoned for speaking up for those humans legally devalued by the government and then killed in the millions. The now-ruling federal political party (in a debasement of its long, grand history in the author’s country) has since 2015 not only openly declared that those who are Pro-Life (that is, those who believe in the Pro-Life Foundational Principles of Human Rights and Democracy) are no longer welcome in the party; but the ruling party has proven its hostility to Free Democracy by silencing the Pro-Life and other voices of duly-elected representatives of the people already in their party, making a mockery of Free Democracy by making elected officials represent the party’s ideological rule over the people (like in totalitarian One-Party systems) instead of properly representing the people’s democratic self-rule through their elected representatives.

Even the United Nations has ignorantly become the totalitarian-oriented monster it was originally formed to fight. Today’s UN has betrayed any intelligent, reasonable, and historically contextual reading of its own 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights by aggressively promoting legal human-killing by abortion, first legalized by the genocidal Soviets and Nazis only because they did not believe killing humans is wrong! Since Human Rights imply Human Responsibilities to recognize and protect Human Rights in other humans, legal abortion was condemned as a crime against humanity in the trials of Nazi doctors at Nuremberg in the same year of 1948 – also the same year the Declaration of Geneva reiterated the ancient traditional doctors’ Hippocratic Medical Tradition to do no harm out of "the utmost respect for human life, from the time of conception."

This book challenges people (voters) to self-reflect and (consciously) identify their (usually unconscious) underlying philosophical worldview (which tends to affect their politics), so they may intelligently decide whether or not they want to keep it after learning the key facts of Science, Logic, Human Rights History (and the History of Ideas) collected in this book. To solidify Free Democracy and Equal Human Rights for All Humans for centuries on firm foundations, this book proclaims a THINKING REVOLUTION with an INTELLECTUAL HONESTY CHALLENGE necessary for LASTING FREEDOM (located in the Back Matter), to undo the quiet, unthinking revolution which has already taken place between 1948 and 2020, unfortunately already removing the historical and philosophical and logical basis for LASTING FREE DEMOCRACY and EQUAL HUMAN RIGHTS FOR ALL HUMANS.

Canadian intellectuals like Professor Jordan Peterson and this author have been forced to stand up for democratic Freedom of Speech (while doing our best to model thoughtfulness and intellectual honesty) precisely because of living under politicians so thoughtless and so intellectually dishonest (or at least so insufficiently educated in Human Rights History and Logic) that these politicians (of both Left and Right, provincial and federal) can no longer tell the difference between totalitarianism and democracy. Two major Canadian political parties blithely and obliviously tear down Free Democracy’s very foundations in equal human preciousness without exception the government is obligated to protect and another major party just watches them dismantle democracy before their eyes. The party leader practically apologized that he personally believes in the Pro-Life Foundational Principles of Human Rights and Democracy – but don’t worry, he won’t support any effort to re-open The Equal Human Rights for All Humans Debate (The Abortion Debate) – all because no party today even remembers nor is held accountable to uphold The Foundational Principles of Human Rights and Democracy (which once were implicitly assumed by both political Progressive Left and Conservative Right, who used to much more congenially work together for the common political good of all citizens (all humans); citizens who used to be able to vote either Left or Right without fear of losing their democracies to extremist political parties who do not even uphold the Foundational Principles of Human Rights and Democracy.)

This author has talked to so many immigrants who used to live in totalitarian States, such as the USSR and its Warsaw Pact Atheist Marxist/Communist/Socialist allies – all Pro-Choice-to-Kill-Humans following the 1920 Soviet Russian precedent of legal human-killing abortion. So many immigrants who recognize several recent Western political, medical and educational trends as totalitarian, and they remark to this author how ignorant it is for people to think totalitarianism could never happen here in the Free West. Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, after being ejected from the Marxist Soviet Union for publicly exposing its evil in his book The Gulag Archipelago, lived 18 years in the U.S., and with his brilliant insight informed by his personal experience of a country deceived by ideology (he himself had been a devout Marxist, and a captain in the Soviet Red Army) repeatedly warned the West that the same ideological poison which he said cannibalized his native Russia was taking the West to the same ends by a different route.

But most people simply do not know enough about Human Rights History (or Logic) to even realize how seriously threatened our modern democracies are by politicians unwittingly and obliviously dismantling democracy’s very foundations without having any idea what they are doing (and sometimes being too ideologically lobotomized by Neo-Marxist Identity Politics to think deeply and honestly about public policy at all). Voters are still voting for them because after decades of public education regulated by governments which have lost touch with the historical and logical Foundational Principles of Human Rights and Democracy identified herein, many of the voters also can no longer tell the difference between totalitarianism and democracy (if they could, there would be outrage and outcry over the fact that Equal Human Rights for All Humans advocates can be arrested and imprisoned in this author’s country for saying killing humans is wrong, just like they could in Nazi Germany). But LASTING Free Democracy requires that both political Left and Right get back to their party’s roots which at the foundation of our modern democracies both at least implicitly recognized the Traditional Western belief in equal human preciousness which already implies the Equal Human Rights for All Humans which were magnificently described and enshrined by the United Nations’ Universal Declaration of Human Rights as the "inherent, equal, and inalienable" Human Rights of every human, without distinction of any kind.

As an example of the urgent need for this book right now, another factor motivating the 2020 publication of this book before it has been polished, reviewed and professionally edited is the fact that for good or ill, America leads world trends, and America will shortly have an election.

American voters this year of 2020 (marking 100 years of legal human-killing abortion started by the Marxist totalitarian Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic in 1920) will have tremendous influence over whether or not current worldwide Pro-Choice ‘Creeping Totalitarian’ trends continue to bury Human Rights and democratic freedoms. This non-partisan (and non-American) author notes that it will be best for the American democracy if both major parties (and their Presidential candidates) try to outdo each other in their commitment to the Foundational Principles of Human Rights and Democracy clearly identified from History, Science and Logic in this book. Such Human Rights and democratic freedoms are dwindling in this author’s country under officially and aggressively Pro-Choice(-to-Kill-Humans) political parties controlling the federal and several provincial governments. These Officially Pro-Choice political parties are not only literally (if unwittingly) following the century-old totalitarian Marxist Soviet 1920 precedent of legal human-killing abortion. They are also dripping with features of the ultimately totalitarian Atheist Marxist Socialist ideology which Nobel Prize-winning historian Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn repeatedly warned the West about. Or, at least they are dripping with Marxism reimagined by Jacques Derrida and other Marxists as Postmodernist philosophy, with its tenuous grip on reality, if not outright denial of objective reality, which actually explains a good deal of the more colossally stupid policies and unscientific ideologies which officially Pro-Choice political parties, when they have governmental majorities, are forcing totalitarian social-engineering-style upon all the citizens they in a democracy are only supposed to represent. Above all, today’s officially Pro-Choice political parties are dripping with Neo-Marxist Identity Politics which, just like classic Marxism, antagonistically bifurcates society by labelling people oppressed and privileged. Neo-Marxist Identity Politics is just as toxic and divisive, and just as hostile to Free Democracy and human safety, as classic Marxism, which is precisely why an officially Pro-Choice organization run by self-described Marxists currently (at time of writing) has cars overturned and burning in the United States. Not that most in today’s Pro-Choice political parties even have a clue of all this. But that is precisely why a THINKING REVOLUTION is necessary to save Free Democracy from the astounding ignorance and ideological lobotomy typical of Pro-Choice political parties. Against all such ‘Creeping Totalitarian’ Pro-Choice political trends, lasting Free Democracy for every human minimally requires the government legally recognize the equal human preciousness without exception which governments are obligated to protect, embedded in Traditional Western Values developed since the 4th Century, as shown in this book. Equal human preciousness which already implies the now-obvious political need for Equal Human Rights for All Humans to be constitutionally enshrined in any democracy which wants to remain one.

Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn (when exiled from Soviet Russia and living in the USA for 18 years but noticing the West heading in the same totalitarian direction as Russia, just by a different route) wrote:

For those who can tell the difference between totalitarianism and democracy, the fact a Human Rights scholar like me can be arrested and imprisoned under current ‘Creeping Totalitarian’ laws in my Western country for peacefully promoting Equal Human Rights for All Humans in protest against the legal human-killing abortion first legalized 100 years ago in 1920 by the totalitarian Soviet Socialist Marxist State which in 1932-33 murdered millions of my ethnic heritage in the Holodomor Genocide is unmistakable proof that the West is indeed descending into the totalitarian gulag mentality which Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn tried to warn the West it was heading into, along with the genocidal Soviets, only by a different route. My fellow Canadian intellectual for Free Speech Professor Jordan Peterson, made famous for resisting other such totalitarian laws against Free Speech in my country, which like most Western countries can no longer tell the difference between totalitarianism and democracy, has already reminded the West that Solzhenitsyn’s The Gulag Archipelago is the most important book of the 20th Century (Time had already deemed it Best Non-Fiction Book of the Twentieth Century).

It is an intolerable affront to Democracy that in some places peaceful Pro-Life Human Rights advocates are now staying home for fear of police instead of exercising normal legitimate democratic freedoms by standing up peacefully for the Inherent Human Right to Live which means killing humans is wrong – or risking jail and heavy fines if they do stand up for Human Rights, just like in totalitarian Police States.

Regional laws passed by the officially Pro-Choice governing political party this author lived under for four years now mean one can be arrested and jailed just for speaking (or holding a sign reading) Killing Humans is Wrong Because Human Rights are for All Humans or doing any kind of peaceful Pro-Life Human Rights advocacy. Even Grandma cannot pray for the babies as precious anywhere within up to 150 meters/500 feet of a human-killing abortion clinic, where such Human Rights advocacy is most pertinent. Pro-Lifers were told by police in my nation’s capital that just staring at an abortion clinic is enough to get arrested, as it would be taken as a sign of the disapproval of abortion it is now illegal to express, such that known Pro-Lifers can literally be arrested just for looking the wrong way!

A 70-year-old peaceful Pro-Life Human Rights Advocate died from his heart condition (surely exacerbated by the stress of false arrest) a week before his trial after being arrested (twice) under this law just for holding signs reading FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION AND RELIGION. NO CENSORSHIP and GOD SAVE OUR CHARTER RIGHTS (a martyr for Freedom of Speech and Religion, and for Human Rights, as this author called him in a eulogy at his funeral). Proving that this was no mistake, but policy, to arrest peaceful known Pro-Lifers even if they obeyed the totalitarian law by leaving their Pro-Life signs at home, on October 24, 2018, an 83-year-old priest was similarly arrested for carrying a sign reading THE PRIMACY OF FREE SPEECH: CORNERSTONE OF WESTERN CIVILIZATION. The Pro-Choice authorities effectively sent this intimidating anti-democratic message to the Pro-Life community in all of a jurisdiction with 14 million people, SHUT UP, and don’t even SHOW UP, because we are willing to arrest known Pro-Lifers just for being present. Police enforcing anti-democratic laws against Human Rights advocacy – and even arresting elderly Pro-Lifers who did not technically break any law since they expressed nothing against abortion (only for Free Speech) – has had the intended totalitarian effect of discouraging some from standing up for Equal Human Rights for All Humans, staying home instead or keeping their peaceful Human Rights advocacy farther and farther away from where it is most pertinent in order to avoid arrest by the police. This is the politics of totalitarian intimidation of dissent, pure and simple. People are usually only arrested for peacefully protesting the killing of humans in totalitarian Police States!

This is just a more advanced case of the informal or formal persecution and silencing of Pro-Life Human Rights advocates by ultimately anti-democratic Pro-Choice totalitarian creeps which has been slowly building up to this for decades, simply because the Pro-Choice position is completely intellectually indefensible and deeply rooted in totalitarian thinking, as demonstrated in this book. No honest thinking person who knows the key facts of Human Rights History revealed in this book would even be surprised that today’s political parties who have made abortion a party value (like the evil totalitarian extremist Soviet Communist and Nazi parties which first de-criminalized abortion), when in power are starting to pass more and more totalitarian-oriented laws and act more like totalitarian States.

Taking away democratic freedom of speech of the Pro-Life position, starting with where it is most pertinent (near human-killing abortion facilities), is the only option left for Pro-Choice politicians who can no longer just ignore that all the facts are against them – which is the dishonest strategy they have used successfully for decades to keep abortion legal. Now that the facts of Science, Logic, and Human Rights History as they pertain to The Abortion Debate (The Human Rights for All Humans Debate) can no longer be ignored, totalitarian creep Pro-Choice politicians and officially Pro-Choice political parties in power are moving on to dishonestly and undemocratically silencing the facts, by passing laws and policies that result in increasing compromises of the democratic freedoms of Pro-Lifers and other citizens.

Even speaking verifiable scientific and medical facts about abortion is a crime under these laws. Science itself must be silenced where it does not accord with a Pro-Choice political party’s party ideologies. This has been seen in other areas than just abortion. Just ask my fellow Canadian intellectual for Free Speech, Professor Jordan Peterson. Pro-Choice political ideologues who do not even understand enough Science to know that preborn humans are humans, and that abortion kills humans – and who do not understand that "killing humans is wrong" is part of Free Democracy’s very foundations – have already proven they easily adopt many newfangled unscientific ideologies which can never pass the rigorous tests of established Science and sound Logic. Pro-Choice ideologues have already proven themselves very willing to instead politically enforce adherence to their party’s newfangled Pro-Choice and other unscientific ideologies totalitarian-style through the social engineering indoctrination of impressionable schoolchildren against loud and wide parental protests (and there have been government programs enforced in some workplaces, for similarly indoctrinating employees in the most absurd unscientific ideologies).

But only well-established Science should ever be taught to impressionable schoolchildren (or forced on employees). Established Science which is not controversial because it has already gone through the rigorous process of becoming well-established Science.
