About this ebook

This book examines the potential statehood status of Black Americans in a post Obama period. It presents the condition that Black Americans find themselves from an engineering scientist perspective. Plausible alternative solutions for Black Americans are carefully critiqued with a rational narrowing process.
A new option is put on the table that has to do with founding of a new organization known as International African American Workforce. This initiative, IAAW, represents an American workforce made up largely of Black Americans that have nation building skills conducive to engaging in large industrial projects. The IAAW Administration translates need of select African countries into an Industrial upgrade-for-Land project. Types of Industrial upgrades the company would administer in host African countries include:
1. Vocational Institutes
2. Manufacturing and assembly plant upgrades
3. Advanced Irrigation Systems
4. Process Plant Upgrades
5. Middle school to High school Upgrades
6. Electrical Power grid Upgrades
African countries motivated to be a global competitor in the world economies of tomorrow stand to benefit from projects led by IAAW organization in Africa. These Black Americans, part of a group of 144,000, would bring a host of technical skills and know how to the country. Black Americans and a mix of other races in America are encouraged to join IAAW as the effects of Covid 19 and social racism cause further tension almost to the brinks of war.

    After Americas First

    Black President

A GAIN, AFTER 13 years, an urge to write came over me. Its my second book and much in the world has taken place. From the title of the book, we have a lot to cover in a book not to awfully thick. My book, 21 st Century Vision for Black America provided an understanding of how black Americans were shaped from origin thru the American experience from the eyes of a man of science. This book continues with next steps after black Americans would reach a point of disgust and dissatisfaction with the things and happenings in America.

A dark anamous cloud hovers the people of color and particular the African Americans since Barack Obama left the White house. Perhaps a sense of closure to the good old days of racial harmony and minority contentment. There’s a new sheriff in town, it was sensed and blacks had better look out.

It was more than a shock to the world when America voted in a non white male for President of the United States. It was not an Asian or Latino, rather, an African American. President Barack Obama demonstrated wit and organization to design a voting campaign that won him the grand prize. It was encouraging to every black man and woman living in America. People will argue and with valid points that electing Barack Obama to president brought hope to all people of color in America.

Destroyed was the myth that only white people can excel at Harvard. Here we have a black man that not only graduates but becomes President. It dispelled the notion that black people were good for nothing but sports and play. Or that black people could not speak well and with good diction. President Obama’s mastery of the English language and ability to govern a diverse group of people was nothing short of remarkable. Is it possible that whites and blacks are really equal if given equal resources, was the glaring unanswered question.

A two term black president suggest it was no accident. Bigots and white nationalists had to bite their tongue and control their anger that America had a black president and for eight years. Social pressure built up so high and alarming that an all the way to the right republican was elected to the highest office of the land despite having no political experience. One that would put America back to the so called good old days when whites had the upper hand and the blacks and latinos were denied certain privaledges.

The Trump Administration was the answer to fed up white males. Or should we say, a re-dial backward toward racial hostilities. Definitely, a wakeup call to non-white Americans that a new sheriff was in town. Division, separation and race nationalism was on the march.

Black nationalism seemed to move to defensive measures as it dawned on black Americans that President Obama was gone. President Trump took action to remove everything in policy that Obama had done. Criticism, sympathy and pity was the reported news from American black leaders and social groups. It was not just Black Americans that would be effected; it would be people of color including latinos and Asians.

The war against Afghanistan, Syria and Yemen was stepped up under the Trump Administration. On the one front, America increased hostilities and the fight with people of color in the Middle East. While on another front, Americans would be putting Latinos in cages due to immigration crisis at southern border with Mexico. Latin Americans were separated from their children and treated horribly while Middle Eastern lands were being demolished from American bombs and missiles.

A new picture was being painted when it came to America’s direction. If you don’t like it here, rather than engage in peaceful discourse to make change, just leave. Go back to where you came from was the undertone of the land. The president of the United States referred to Africa as Shit hold nations. Rather than agree to Equality and Justice, the Caucasian American would prefer us to go home. While we can share in America’s luxuries, people of color must endure inequalities and suck it up, or go back to our own country.

The country saw Black Americans reacting to white racism rather than making demands. At a time when one would think black organizations to act or deliberate on what to do, it was one of wait to see what Trump administrations does next and react. Some people call that living to survive. Campaigns to motivate positive change slowed down under the Trump administration as Black Americans took reactive positions. Job growth was limited in scope impacting those that required skills. Further, assistance in the way of funding for inner city schools was cut. Non profits relying on governmental assistance would began to suffer after the Obama Administration.

A program we all have heard about that directly effects urban inner cities is HUD or Housing and Urban Development programs. Trump proposed a 2018 budget that would cut and eliminate community programs. Gone would be the Community Block Grant program and Trump would boost of saving the country 3 billion dollars. Throughout the country, non-profit organizations depend on the community block grants to help in urban areas that desperately need assistance with shelter and education services. An approach to abandon these programs has hit African Americans communities especially hard the past 3 years. According to Robert Silverman, a professor in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Buffalo reported, There is no discussion taking place in the White House that I am aware of about new initiatives, programs or investments in inner cities.

Perhaps we need to look at this situation Black Americans find themselves in an altogether different way. Imagine that president Obama was elected president of the most powerful nation on earth due to God’s will. Or say, it was a divine reason president Obama was made president of America to show black Americans their true capability with only some self confidence. If a black American can run and operate America with civility and dignity; can black Americans run and operate their own country and rule themselves? Having been to the mountaintop, no question is off the table.

We have heard the rhetoric about black Americans built this country so deserve some land right here in U.S.A. My spirit does not move me in that direction nor is there anything on the books to that path at the White House desks. This is not a goal of mine for the simple reason that the land the American Indians call their reservations is hardly prime land to grow anything. Prior to the European explorers and conquerors, American Indians occupied most all of what we call America and now they are stuck on deserts. They were in up the east coast in Michigan, Indiana, New York and Massachusetts but also in the southern states like Kentucky, Georgia, Arkansas and Mississippi. They grew crops and sustained their families. Now they are on land not great for farming so must rely on casinos and gambling. No thanks, that is not the path that Black Americans need to follow.

What makes perfect sense is give credence to the aftermath of an African American president followed by a drive to see that happen again and again. It certainly cannot happen again and again in a country that is dominated by white Americans. So that the memory does not die out, blacks must quickly find a way to see a black president again.

A great deal of thinking transpired before it came to me. Though America is not at war with itself as in the civil war, outside of America, many wars are being fought leaving nations devastated and near hopeless at the thought of rebuilding. With so much conflict, unrest and national conflict in the middle east, Russia, Far East and Africa, a growing demand exists for a rebuilding workforce. So I thought of calling it an international Nationbuilding workforce.

The wars between nations leave death, ruin, destruction, sadness and increase the misery index. Nations want to rebuild but where do you start is the million dollar question. This is the purpose of the international Nationbuilding workforce. There are countries in the continent of Africa that are either just coming out of a civil war or some natural disaster such as a drought and need to rebuild their nation. These countries have land, i.e., territorial borders. Perhaps, they are enjoying a civil society though lack a robust economy that can provide jobs for their youth in their African nation. Again, the Nationbuilders workforce would be of vital importance for such a task. Sure, would be a host of requirements that the international Nationbuilding workforce would have to evaluate prior to actual engagement in a project. But, first and foremost, there must be the need. And if an African nation is civil and love its people to the extent they would like to realize their nation being a participant in the global group of successful nations, then international NBW would be an viable option. This would be more than a peace effort; it would be an Industrial Effort.

There could be no better example of having the capacity to run a country then already having run one. President Barack Obama proved to the world that black Americans are civilized enough to have their own nation. Congress and the Senate were led by President Obama to provide leadership for the most advanced nation on earth. He did it with respect for other nations and building on alliances.

Cuba has been a country off limits for decades until President Obama was elected to the White House. He sought to normalize relations with the communist country that is close to our Florida boarder. Obama traveled to the capital of Cuba and stayed there for 2 and ½ days where he was greeted with cheers and joy. "Obama, Obama, Obama the Cubans shouted as President and his family traveled among the Habaneros.

Few will describe President Obama as a puppet for the white establishment. Reconciling relations with Cuba was something President Obama wanted to do himself. In a matter of about a year and ½, relations with Cuba was reestablished which have not existed for half a century. Soon afterwards, business ties were being established and airplane travel to and from Cuba were on the rise. Investments began to take place between the Cubans and Cuban Americans as well as other Latin Americans in America.

Our discourse here is to note how a leader of color reached out to another leader of color and mended the differences. Obama felt that such a poor and tiny country as Cuba posed no real threat to America so there was no real reason to carry on as if they were some big monstrous regime out to get us.

The world watched change take place as the Cuban leader praised Obama’s courage to give talks and negotiations a chance. Obama would assign Rhodes to open secret trade dialogue with Havana state government. It would be gradual, but the Obama Administration eased the embargo on Cuban goods and by his second term in office had all but normalized relations.

Here we have a black American in the White House building allies and running the country. When Obama would walk pass the guards and the journalist captured the guards salute the black President. As a black American, it was like they had just saluted me. When the President boarded Air Force One and the guards at the door saluted President Obama, it was like whites was saluting every black American in the United States.

For eight years, President Obama and his lovely family was honored and respected by the official staff of the United States. When people would hug and shake the hand of the new Black President, it was like every Black American felt the same hug and greetings. President Obama carried a little bit of every black American in his body and soul while he was in the White House.

Black Americans are unique in knowing how to run a thriving country. An African American president in the white house demonstrated not just to other Black Americans but to the rest of the world that we are capable of ruling. It projects black people capable of civil behavior conducting the rule of law. We are living the effect of having the commander and chief of the Armed forces of the United States being a Black American at this time in history.

Black Americans were involved as America transitioned from producing cotton to producing cars, trucks and buses. That is, Black Americans can speak with authority the building of the American nation from literally the ground up. A people that have transcended from slave to president, from servant to boss, from head down to head up and from being discounted to being admired and honored.

There is much to gain from
