Michelle Kehoe is a special education teacher who works with young children age birth to three years for the early intervention program in New York state. She is fluent in English and Spanish. Mrs. Kehoe began receiving students with signs and characteristics of autism early in her teaching career, and the numbers increased rapidly. Having always longed for a guidebook for teachers and parents of pre- and newly diagnosed children with autism, she has compiled and shared her knowledge and experience here in this book. It is with the intent that parents and teachers will read, use, and share the book’s contents to the degree that they need in helping their child.
