NAN REBIK Happily retired, Nan and her dog Dobro live in the Southern California desert close to the Mexican Border. To escape the summer heat, she and Dobro spend as much time as possible in the Laguna Mountains. Herman and his extended family live nearby providing regular inspiration for the Herman stories.
