The weekend had finally arrived, and Alexis was eager to see Grant. It was a beautiful day and truly about to get better, she thought. Alexis arose from her bed. What a surprise, she thought. I didn’t dream about Grant last night. Could he have stopped the voodoo spell because we are supposed to talk about a possible relationship together? Alexis giggled. Of course, the voodoo comments were a joke, and she was just excited about the day. Alexis didn’t really think that Grant was into witch-doctor magic. It doesn’t matter because I am looking forward to being with him in more ways than one, Alexis thought. I have apparently, at least in my dreams, done more with this man in the last two weeks than he knows about, and hopefully, it will all be as exciting and erotic as when we finally do get together! Alexis went to the bathroom and got ready for the day. After finishing her shower, Alexis went to the kitchen to do a last-minute check. She had all she needed for the evening’s dinner—all except the man of the year, according to her!

Alexis was so thrilled about this date. She was acting like someone who had just won the lottery! While preparing for Grant’s arrival, she was singing, dancing, and enjoying her morning. Alexis had not felt this way in a long time. Hell, not ever that she could remember, and all she could think was, I hope it’s not too good to be true. Time was moving slow, and Alexis needed to do something other than watch the clock tick by. She decided to go out by the pool and have a drink to relax. This is such a beautiful day, thought Alexis.
