A Captive No More: Finding the Life God Has Planned for You
()
About this ebook
This book, A Captive No More, helps us take a journey to identify the circumstances in our lives that rob us of the full life that Jesus intended. Jesus summarized this purpose when He said, The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come that they might have life, and have it to the full. (John 10:10 NIV)
Mark Killingsworth
Mark Killingsworth is writing this material to address a core issue that keeps people from living out their God-given design. His desire is for each chapter of this book to be a guide, leading the reader on a journey and helping them wind up at a destination of freedom and victory. This book was written in the fortieth year of Marks pastoral ministry, where many people have found their victory and freedom through the truths of scripture. Many families are now experiencing numerous levels of destructive behaviors because of bondage. The accumulative effect of this bondage is causing a serious decay in the fabric of human culture. In America, Christian influence has decreased significantly over the last 50 years causing our society to deteriorate into a growing form of enslavement. This spiritual slavery comes from the loss of a moral compass. The ever increasing spiritual bondage of our society has shifted us away from the intended design of America; that we were to be a City on a Hill. A Captive No More is designed to help individuals, families, small groups, and communities return to the original design of God. There is great hope as we find our way back to freedom that is found in Jesus.
