Author: Romaine Littlefield Kupfer ( b.1923-d.2017) Romaine L. Kupfer, a geographer-geologist, who spent one year in New Zealand with her husband and children (ages 8 and 10) in 1962-63, wrote a brief text for children about a symbolic Christmas and a Kiwi bird. A world traveler, Mrs Kupfer has published scientific articles and has been involved in manuscript processing for several scientific organizations including the U.S Geological Survey. Artist: Madeleine K. Van Epps ( b.1953-) Madeleine K. Van Epps is Romaines daughter. She was formerly a high school English and Psychology teacher but retired in 2018. She is now a resident of Wyoming.
