I Am Church: Converting Passion into Praise
()
About this ebook
On the day when our lives are reviewed, God will not request a recommendation from your reverend. He will look you in the eye and ask you, “What did you do?”
It is the duty of Christians to paint a picture of Jesus by our actions. This cannot be done effectively from the current church model. Not everyone that loves God is interested in attending church.
I Am Church: Converting Passion into Praise discusses worship and growth and is focused on your passions and talents, not just the activity of one day. This book suggests building a community that will support the conversion of passion into praise.
Do I need to go to church to have a connection with God? How can you be a church every day? How can you expand your influence? How can you show the world Jesus?
Daniel Holder
Daniel Holder is an author, speaker, and ministry consultant on a mission to draw people closer to God by shattering the stifling traditions of religion, and inciting real change in the heart of the church. Born and raised in London, England as the son of Pastor Richard and Pennie Holder, Daniel’s path to discovering his identity in Christ wasn’t a smooth one. After leaving home at the age of 18 to attend college in the United States, he began to make poor choices that included heavy drinking, an arrest, and other reckless behaviors that sent him on a downward spiral. That downward spiral led to the revealing of his purpose and his passion. Daniel, his wife Salina, and their two daughters, Abigail and Grace, reside in Southern California, where he is currently pursuing a Master’s in divinity at La Sierra University. An unconventional and creative thinker, Daniel is dedicated to disrupting ministry as usual and is dedicated to become an agent of change in the church and beyond.
