    Foreword

The cross is the mark and symbol of Christ’s role in this world. The vertical plane represents heaven; the horizontal plane represents the earth. Christ is at the exact point of their intersection. The significance of this is astounding.

As both God and Man, the figure of Christ emerges as the heart and catalyst of what is possible for this world.

He embodies the ever-present world of the spirit as it imbues, carries and transforms the physical world. This book examines how these two worlds – the Spiritual and the Physical – come together to produce change and transformation.

It is no accident that Christ’s particular form of death was used by his executioners. Although the Romans often used crucifixion, in most cases, the victim was usually tied, not nailed to the cross.

Certainly no Roman centurion examined the situation and made such a theological connection. The intention was simply to rid the world of one more misfit. The world was chaotic then, as the world is chaotic now.

And yet, the one designated as a criminal on the cross that day was to revolutionize the world with a far greater impact than any single human being before or since that day.

This book looks into the implications of how that confluence of Heaven and Earth represents the dynamics which Christ embodied.

His message reconciles the two worlds – and shows the miracle of transformation that is possible when the spiritual and the physical worlds come together to shape our lives.

He is the Miracle, and the cross is the indelible mark of that miracle.

This world then becomes not a limited existence destined for death, but an existence transformed by Spirit to live forever.
