James Quina
James Quina, a native of Mobile, Alabama, studied with playwright Abe Polsky in Carpinteria, California, and the novelist Madison Jones of Auburn, Alabama. His short story, Electricity, was published in the Journal of College Writing. His literary critical essays have appeared in Studies in the Novel, The Journal of Mind and Behavior, and Paunch. His novel, The King of Cups, is available through Xlibris. He taught at Wayne State University in Detroit, Santa Barbara City College in California, Our Lady of Holy Cross, and Tulane University in New Orleans. He enjoys Kundalini yoga, taijutsu, and hiking. He lives in Fairhope, Alabama, with his cat, Raven.
