Poet’s Note:
APPRECIATION
I am opportune with the privilege to share the blessing of my God-given talent with the world through poetry. The writing of this anthology has been possible only through a faithful God, who is so benevolent in dispensing his grace over my life. I will always be grateful to him for all the insight-driven inspirations, innovations, motivation, and strength to accomplish the first volume (second edition) of this project: The hidden within
. I have many people that my gratitude goes out to, I am unable to mention each lovely individual, for if I do; this book will rather become a chronicle entailing the names of the most amazing people, living on the surface of planet earth. I will mention a few names for official reasons but for all other personalities that were of any assistance one way or the other. In the same honour of gratitude, I wish to say a big thank you, may our God in heaven bless you in abundance.
I will like to mention firstly my dad, Pastor Antoine S. Azangisa, for his parental and financial support in the success of this project and a special love to my amiable, young looking mother, Mrs Pierrette Azangisa. For her encouragements and continuous disturbance over staying focused and finishing this project, it helped me in the time I began to become lazy in my obligations, thank you to the both of you.
I also mention two important people, who happened to be my Literature and English teachers in secondary school, Mrs Lanlokun and Mrs Ogunsonya of Glory Baptist School, The Gambia. I honour these women, whom I thank for their guide and support, having to be the ones that gave me the idea to put together my poems into a collection. I also mention my church, Christ Embassy Cardiff in the United Kingdom, My man of God Dr. Rev. Chris Oyakhilome PhD; being the very pillars that I refer to, when measuring the foundation of my spiritual and even mental growth. I will also thank Mrs Mary Gwynne, who took out time to read my book and write a prologue about how she felt after reading it; as well as the other prominent personalities that have done likewise. I will also mention Mr Sadibou, the manager of my first book publication in the year 2012; Creation plus, also Mrs Jacqueline Mohammed of Nubian Queen Services, who helped in organising my first book launch in the same year.
I appreciate the people that helped me tremendously in this project: Barrister. Aminchi Adeyemi, Mr Fabrice Mamba, Mr Alex Jatta, Mr Samuel Y. Kumi and lastly Caleb Edward Macauley; who published the first article about me on newspaper. I give a big shout out to my team, The DomiNation Paragons
; I do not have enough words to express my gratitude to each one member. They helped in many ways and took great part in the editing of this book and sharing their insightful opinions and ideas, also watching my back. Thank you to my Teamdomination.
There are people that I would have loved to mention but unfortunately it is an impossible task due to the large number of kind and wonderful people that have been helpful to me.
Lastly, I will mention my family for their support and love, each one helping one way and the other. Christelle Omo Irabor, Amelie Mamba, Pastor. Claude W. Azangisa, Renidy Azangisa, Rejoice Olivia Azangisa, and (Ella Irabor and Maya Mamba) my lovely nieces. Thank you to everyone.

PREFACE
This book is a series collection of poems that are styled in scenes and volumes, entitled The Hidden Within
- an assortment of poems aligned in a somewhat pattern of a story. Depicting the journey of the author Benny King Azangisa, on the pursuit to venture on his dreams, just as any young person should. The ideology of the hidden within
, from its actual logical perspective, paints a scenario where there is a divulging taking place but sourced from the heart of a person who expresses his experiences through the art of poetry.
The story is about the fear of shining out in uniqueness, as well as being scared of being categorised a misfit by the world around. It is common in this age that many young people are held back by the expectations of those around them - being afraid to stumble and being themselves – meaning they will dread to begin a new journey. The story deliberates on the author’s introduction into writing and his progression in growth; highlighting the challenges, that he had to face and triumphed over. There are poems that are lessons in deep context but all in relation to the experiences he faced in the place of those who do not have the voice to tell their side of the story.
The purpose of this story is rooted on the grounds of motivation and encouragement of not being afraid to
