Faith - Patrick Littlejohn
MY LONG JOURNEY
T HIS IS A story about a man, me, Patrick Littlejohn Jr., who received divine messages and heavenly music from the kingdom within. I had battles with negative forces that some people would call Satanic, it was the battle of good and evil. I heard a story about this. A master told his chelas about the fight between good and evil that dwells within us, one chela asked the Master Who wins?
the Master replied The one you focus your mind on
. I was considered a loser and despised by those who didn’t know my character. We musicians have a reputation as being radicals, corrupt with drugs and women. My life reminds me of the story of Joseph in the bible, if his brothers had not sold him to the nearby merchants Egypt would have not been saved by Joseph’s prophetic dream about the famine. The people in my life helped me get where I am today, because of them I grew spiritually, this the purpose of life, we were sent here to grow and return to heaven. The story of the prodigal son clearly illustrates this, we left our father to come to earth to learn our lessons for spiritual growth. We spend a life of hardships, pain and suffering in order to grow spiritually, when we finally had enough and matured spiritually we return home to the father.
I had to go through this karma, it was written for them to treat me in the manner in which they did so I could learn the mysteries of heaven and convey it to those who listened, there are some people, as Jesus told Peter, The mysteries of heaven is not meant for them
, their souls are not matured enough to deal with these mysteries. Our people are like old wine bottles, we will not accept new truths and ideas. I found out from experience telling new truths and ideas to the elderly and ministers are fruitless. I thank them and forgive them for what they have done, like Jesus said on the cross without them I would not have succeeded in life, I know everything is written I was told this by a spiritual Master, I am traveling down the path God has placed before me alone and let the masses go their way. I am not going down the right path or the left path, but the middle path in which all the Masters walk. I am not perfect; a master has failed more times than anyone has ever tried!
In my search for truth, I studied religion. I chose to attend a Catholic seminary at the age of thirteen; I was not coerced by my parents to attend like some of my classmates were. The discipline and religious beliefs I learned at the seminary were the cause of a lot of abuse after I left the protection of my parents. While in college I took theology courses in pursuit of my goal to seek truth. The ministers who taught the courses presented questions to the class of the validity of science versus religion. After those courses, I did as Jesus said: Seek and ye shall find.
I decided not to sit and listen but to search for truth. I found out that Jesus left Palestine as boy with his uncle, who was a merchant, to the far east. Alexander The Great conquered the known worlds of his day, the cultures overlapped, the wisdom of the far east filtered down to Judea and Palestine. Jesus, curious about this Divine Wisdom and knowledge, traveled on a caravan with his uncle. When I found out about the Nicene council in 325AD the members of the council, except a few, voted Jesus equal to God and worshipped him, there were few members of the council who objected to this. Jesus does not want to be worshipped, God does not want to be worshipped as a God, they both want to be loved. I turned my attention on finding truth, I will not worship a man appointed by man as a God. I do not listen to the words of man, I learned how to listen to the voice of God which lies within.
While going to college, I worked at night, but I dropped out of school and quit my job when I developed a serious lung disease called pulmonary sarcoidosis, which almost took my life. The illness made me eligible for disability insurance, so I stayed out of school for a while to recuperate. After regaining some of my strength, I joined a jazz group and played in jam sessions with a few top jazz recording artists.
After years of pain and suffering, God gave me a song while I was in prayer. I heard the most beautiful music coming from the heavens; no human could duplicate the voices of the angels. I got this song years before my stay in the hospital. I title this song The Dreamer
in honor of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. I was angered by the fact that everyone admired Dr. King’s famous speech, the greatest of its day, but ignored its contents. Americans didn’t give a damn about its message of peace and love, spoken by God through Jesus and other messengers. Jesus, King, Gandhi, and other prophets and saints were killed trying to get the world to live in peace and harmony! There were a few whites and blacks who wanted peace, love, and harmony, but others only thought about themselves and were taken up by American greed. God sends messengers to spread peace, and some of them were musicians, such as the Beatles, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, and a host of others who wrote songs of peace in the 1960s. There will be no peace in the middle East as long as America is an Ally to Israel, the Muslims are not dumb, how can America be an arbitrator taking sides with Israel? Giving them weapons to fight the Muslims.
I played in a gourmet restaurant, and the owner said that he would finance the recording of The Dreamer,
but when he found out that the song was about Dr. Martin Luther King, he reneged. There are people who are following the social norms of the masses. Jesus did not respect the norms of his day that’s why he was killed, he was constantly harassed by the scribes who knew the law. When I took a break one afternoon, I heard a group of surgeons and doctors talking trash about Dr. King and blacks, more than likely they were taught this by their parents. There are black and white kids played together as kids but were separated by their parents. I wondered, Why all the hate? I wondered about hate in this country and all over the world—blacks hating whites and whites hating blacks, Muslims hating Jews, Americans hating Muslims. A hater will not enter the kingdom of God. I was shocked when I took the lead sheet of my music to several people who ignored me they thought I was a joke; they knew nothing about music script they wanted to hear the music. I gave up because nobody was interested. I learned later that it wasn’t my time.
In a dream while I was in a nursing home, angels, all dressed in white alerted me that it was time; I knew they were talking about the song God had given me years before, as I was listening to the angels sing the most beautiful song I had ever heard. They implied that it was time for my music and song that God has blessed me with, I can’t reveal what the Angels really said in the dream because when God gives you a message, it is best you keep quiet about it because few people will believe you or comprehend what you are saying; humans cannot use reason to understand God. Jesus encountered that problem in his day, and he spoke with authority, only a few people will accept new truths and ideas, they would rather stay in the traditional state of consciousness, Jesus and Nicodemus talked about this in the bible Ye must be born again, old skins cannot withstand fresh wine, when the wine ferments it expands causing the bottle to break. I cannot understand why they merged Judaism with Christianly when the ministers of Judaism put Jesus to death. Jesus and John spoke out against the ministers and the religion of their day. I have tremendous faith in God, I have that inner connection with him in which someday people will learn. I have contact with my spiritual guides who have given me messages that I must share with the world!
I had never composed music, but I knew that it would be time for me to do so one day. Once when I was trying to compose, my brother walked by and told me, I don’t like your taste.
A couple of years after my dream, I wondered if the angels that appeared to me at the nursing home was a sign that President Barack Obama would be elected president starting a change of tradition. Everything is written. The spiritual consciousness of the masses is going to be raised. God has his hands in today’s situation, but he and his advocates are going to have a fierce fight with the advocates of Satan. Some people don’t realize that they are working for Satan.
CHAPTER 1
World War II
D URING WORLD WAR II, Patrick Littlejohn Sr., my father, was serving with General Douglas MacArthur in the Philippines when he met a Catholic priest in a foxhole. My father was somewhat cautious and distrusted almost everyone except his family. The priest was an unusual man. Unlike the clergy that Patrick knew and the rest of the soldiers he had fought with in Africa and in the Pacific, this priest was kind and serious about his faith. This meant a lot to Patrick Sr. He had disliked ministers because he thought that they were power hungry and valued money more than their ministry. He talked about how their nice homes and automobiles were financed by the members of their congregations, a Catholic Priest complained about that to me when I use to do chores for the church, the Catholic Priest didn’t get near the money the clergy of other religions are getting. The churches are not acknowledging the teaching of the Christ.
The war in the Philippines was gruesome. The Japanese were heartless and vicious, bringing woe to the American prisoners of war. Patrick Sr. was lucky to return with MacArthur because the soldiers who were left behind were tortured at the least provocation by the Japanese and killed. General MacArthur’s famous statement, I shall return!
gave the POWs faith and courage.
The Japanese surrendered in 1945. People did not universally agree upon the exact date of the war’s end, suggesting both the armistice of August 14, 1945 (V-J Day), and the signing of the formal surrender on September 2, 1945, as indicated in some European histories, as the date. The war in Europe ended on V-E Day, May 8, 1945, and the Allied occupation of Japan ended with the signing of the San Francisco Peace Treaty in 1951.
Patrick Sr. sent money home to his wife and family. Several years later, when I was a kid, I noticed that my father hadn’t brought home any medals from the war; his only medals were the scars on his body. It is bad when black soldiers fight and die to free other countries only to return home to fight and die for freedom in their own country.
