This book is about the origin and expansion of the Judeo/Christian belief. The neo/technologies and ideo/evolution facing the 21st century have set the stage for a revised current and relevant history of the moral and intellectual journeys of the human species. These were Eras that became the spiritual, theological, and ideational marvels of enlightenment that occurred over millennia, always set within the context of Divine freedom. This reworked history can be best told in two parts. Part I tells us that God chose to make use of set-apart people to accomplish His Divine plan for Planet Earth; first, as Ancient Hebrews, then as Caucasian Alpha-Males, and finally as Evangelical Christians. Part II of this unique account involved all about Jesus, the incarnate God, sent by the Father to help humanity understand His nature and intentions. Jesus became the visible expression of the invisible Deity. Accordingly, set-apart people were needed: (a) to counteract the all-encompassing, moral depravity of the Ancient World; (b) to set up the means of worship that pleases, not offends, Gods essential righteosness; and (c) to reveal the organic, scientific and mathematical truths of our physical reality. The believers of the 21st century are postured for an innovative revision of the spiritual history of Judeo/Christianity. One, which is unpolluted by the fleeting illusions of culture and socio/politics. If historic truth be told, for 2000-years the unchanging message of Jesus has prevailed throughout the Eras as the foremost, value tradition of an ever-evolving humanity. This book strips away the clutter of the ins-and-outs of historic trivia and attempts to look at how, through God’s revealed truth, our spiritual enlightenment expanded throughout the constraints and flow of time. This author summarized the dynamic accounts of the beliefs of Judeo/Christianity from the scripts of the four greatest theologians, Moses, Paul, Augustine, and Luther, who were commissioned by God to reveal his universal truths to his beloved Mankind. Always within the context of human freedom and the confrontations posed by four oppressive and repressive Empires of yore, the insights of these theologians have been guiding the souls of humanity-at-large through the fundamental, eternal truths. Today in the 21st century what seems to stand-out are four principles leading to one’s intimacy with the Divine. One, it’s all about Jesus. Two, it’s the Holy Spirit which guides us, not the Old World, self-appointed religious authorities of the Vatican, the Patriarch, or the Church of England. Three, honoring the Sabbath as a conduit to the message of Jesus. And four, daily Bible-reading and study as a personal letter from God to an individual soul.

Throughout his 45-year career in academics, aviation, and business consultation, Mike Morra, Ph.D. always found himself at the cutting edge of computer programming for the major corporations of the Univac I and II systems. These were the first, commercial computers in business history. In the 1960s, Dr. Morra was invited to join a NASA crisis-team of national scientists in Houston, TX. After three astronauts were killed in a January 1967, capsule explosion, this quickly assembled team was assigned the objective to develop operational models to aid the escape and rescue of astronauts who were marooned in Outer Space. The now-famed Apollo XIII flight, featured on film by Hollywood’s, Tom Hanks, validated the results of our report. In part, this project was directed by Dr. Harold Urey, a 1934, Nobel Bell Prize winner. In the 1970-80s, Morra became a ranking manager on shift-duty in the operation of Kansas City International Airport. While on shift-duty, Morra was responsible for the safety and well-being of thousands of passengers and employees. His management activities included the daily resolution of 2-3 major and minor emergencies, which unexpectedly occurred on every shift. Since the year 1984, Dr. Morra consulted for a variety of organizations through his firm, 21st Century Marketing Company.

Mike Morra received a B.S. in Econometrics, at NewYork University, NYNY, 1957; an M.A. in Psychometrics, Columbia University NYNY, 1959; and a Ph.D. in Behavioral Science, at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville TN, 1965. Accordingly, his formal research and teaching style were set at the leading edge of the techno/cultural/commercial dynamic of the American culture. Add to these professional experiences, Morra: (a) had published in macro/genetics, apropos to the socio/politics of the American democracy; (b) taught coursework and seminars at the undergraduate and graduate levels across a span of 35-years: and (c) served the community for 10-years as a docent at the internationally renowned Nelson/Atkins Art Museum, located in Kansas City, MO. Today, Dr. Morra’s interests are focused upon the genetics of socio/politics as they might impact a demographically diverse democracy—a 21st century idea, which time has come and can’t be resisted. PROLOGUE

Think 21st Century: The next hundred years will be drifting toward the Global acceptance of a universal, value system unifying all nations, communities, and tribes. As the course of history has been steadily revealing, this all-embracing, religious code most likely will be the Moral Evolution of Western Man. It would be intellectually unsound to imagine that a person, set in the Multiverse as a mere speck, would not need a credible, all-encompassing, religion that features the continuous, personal attention of a doting, loving, incarnate God. That is, Jesus. Love, justice, righteousness, and freedom will be the four, overriding, spiritual commitments of this Global, monotheistic religious conviction, also known as the Judeo/Christian Code.

Hinduism and its Asian derivatives, along with Islam, and Secular Humanism represent the three, 21st century, macro-value systems contending with Judeo/Christianity. In the context of an ever-evolving religious history, these three doctrines ought to be considered counterrevolutionary, irrational, incomplete, and aberrant. Hence, an abomination to the pure character and loving sensibilities of God.

Why? Their theologies are implausible. Their rituals are idolatrous. And, their socio/politics are too often cruel and reactionary. Simply stated, they fail to meet the theological and socio/political benchmarks of love, justice, righteousness, and freedom. These four existential matters are Divine qualities that constitute the indispensable rationale for one’s individual creation as a Homo Sapien. Accordingly, these attributes can’t be morally compromised, socio/politically negotiated, or philosophically diminished with pretext, rationalization, or self-serving justification. Ultimately, God will not accept or tolerate any long-term, institutionalized expressions of hate, injustice, bondage, and/or unholiness. In the 21st century, this compelling issue of God’s demand for purity must rank foremost for the spiritual enlightenment of the 21st century.

This book is about the Moral Evolution of Western Man. Its exclusive account of the Judeo/Christian theology, along with its historical macro-Eras, can be considered distinct from the 1000s of other religious writings that have appeared throughout the Ages. This only-one-of-its-kind manuscript views the evolution of Western religion from both a streamlined operational and structural perspective. Four of the greatest theologians, i.e. superstars who really made a difference, will provide the Biblical reader with a longitudinal viewpoint within the context of four macro-Eras spanning 4000-years.

The unique approach of this book should add both an operational and a structural succession to this remarkable, religious evolution. In Parts I and II of this book, Moses, Paul, Augustine, and Luther are the featured theologians-of-note who boosted the Judeo/Christian tradition up to a higher and higher next plane of spiritual maturity. Along with, the basic truths they, and others, generated and consumed by the believers of the Modern Age. If so, then all other theologians in Western history must be considered secondary offshoots, not mainline writers, to the existential drama depicting God’s character, creative intentions, and future plans for the Homo Sapien. Furthermore, in Part III this book examines the structural composition of four macro-Ages of Judeo/Christian history. These Epochal stages, set within the framework of Divine freedom, ought to further divulge God’s intelligent/spiritual design for humanity’s journey.

The favorable Global reception of the Moral Evolution of Western Man is awaiting, in anticipation of the spiritual enlightenment of 21st century Mankind. Not unlike the international acceptance of Western capitalism and Western democracy, the trend of religion led by the spiritual persuasion of the Western World is expected to universally cascade, sweep-across, and zoom throughout the landscapes, temples, and family-life of the nations, tribes, and communities of Planet Earth. Only then, will both our Global values and their corresponding theology be recognized and established as the Judeo/Christian principles of love, justice, goodness, and freedom. For millennia mostly in the Western World, these moral messages of Jesus plausibly have been addressing an individual soul’s rock-bottom, spiritual desires; especially those worthwhile yearnings that best describe and account for the who, what, where, when, how, and why of the human journey set within the perilous and unforgiving Universe. Accordingly, all other 21st century theological speculations, religious practices, and their obsolete, entrenched institutions will shrivel, fade away, and collapse from the weight of their irrelevance, incredulous opinions, superstitions, myths, and socio/political departures from the adamant, Divine principles of love, justice, righteousness, and freedom.

As example, in the Hindu nations women and children continue to be culturally deprecated, disparaged, scorned, and disrespected. Imagine in an alleged mega/democracy, e.g. India, no governmental funds are allocated to public, elementary education. What kind of democracy would deny basic learning to its young ones? Most all elementary education in India is provided by private and/or religious schools. Also imagine, not much is imposed by law enforcement to protect young brides from Hindu acceptable family and community violence. In Hindu India, young wives are threatened, beaten, and/or raped if their families can’t produce an agreed dowry. All the while, the parents of these young women give tacit approval to this heinous practice of Hindu brutality. With irony, their pompous, self-righteous, Oriental sacred scripture does little-to-none to spiritually offset these repugnant, religious-based, cultural ways&means. No doubt, Hinduism and its Asian religious derivatives cause offense to the righteousness of God with their bizarre, weird-like, idolatrous rituals, gender cruelty, stealth caste system, and polytheistic worship. Expectedly, these religious/cultural outrages insidiously carried out across the full spectrum of the Asians nations, are all Hindu-derived. Consequently in the context of the 21st century, the religious Orient-at-large, fraught with socio/cultural and spiritual repugnance, is in desperate need of a Judeo/Christian conversion and upgrade. Hinduism falls woefully short of love, justice, goodness, and freedom; the Divine traits that must dictate the most-basic standards for any legitimate, religious-oriented society. We can expect Hinduism to gradually recede and be confined and restricted as a minor cult of the Himalayas.

Islamic nations too, are a repugnance to the Divine commands of love, justice, righteousness, and universal freedom. Muslims, motivated by the writings of the Koran, feed and focus upon their religious contempt for humanity-at-large, along with their cruel subjugation of their women and young females. During the past 1000-years, Islam under a military banner of hatred has been responsible for the wanton, numberless slaughter of infidels and Muslims alike. Where is the universal love in the Islamic Code? Where is the holiness in their outlook? Where is their justice served toward neighbors and foreigners? Where is their respect for freedom? Unquestionably, as spiritually endorsed even by their moderate population at-large, women are stoned to death for sexual indiscretions? Women are beaten in the streets for exposing their faces? Young girls are denied basic schooling? Recurrently, terrorists murder their innocent neighbors under the streamer of their Sacred Scripture. Why do modern-day Islamic societies prefer the archaic ways&means of the 8th century? How could such an abhorrent, religious socio/politic take root in the Muslim, human consciousness? Perhaps their Prophet, Mohammed, who was an illiterate pedophile and who was raised in a dysfunctional family, is accountable. As compared to Jesus, who came from a literate, healthy, traditional Jewish family. Perhaps, Mohammed who rode into their holy city perched upon a camel brandishing a sword with a 1000 warriors protecting him tells the story-line differently between Islam and Judeo/Christianity. As stark contrast, Jesus instead, rode into the holy city, Jerusalem, sitting on a colt, humble and loving to adoring crowds. Undoubtedly, both the Islamic socio/political, 8th century customs and their underlying barbaric theology are spiritually out-of-sync with both the 21st century mindset and the character of the Godhead, who always will insist upon the daily implementation of love, goodness, justice, and freedom. Not unlike Hinduism, Islam too finds itself in a desperate need of an religious upgrade via a conversion to Judeo/Christianity.

As well, complementing these two idolatrous, sacrilegious, major value-systems, i.e. Hinduism and Islam, the political/spiritual ideologies and Godless tenets of Secular Humanism, which in the 20th century accounted for the leaderships of Marx, Lenin, Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini, Franco, Tojo, and Mao of China, poses the most evil of threats to the future of Mankind. Secular Humanism represents a Malthusian Menace to the spiritual evolution of human life. The slaughter of 100s of millions of innocence by these political leaders of the early 20th century plus the 40-million prechild murders caused by the hideous, medical practices of Liberal American abortions must be faced-up-to by the socially responsible, morally accountable leaders and their constituencies. In a nutshell, this yet-surviving, triad of 21st century, morally misdirected religions, i.e. Hinduism, Islam, and Secular Humanism, don’t reflect the loving nature of God, who must be horrified by the theologies and socio/political consequences of this odious tri-axis of religious evil. Primarily, what seemed to have been spiritually driving the souls of both these misguided modern and ancient nations were the proverbial seven deadly sins of wickedness. The ratio of bad to good moral choices of these common persons tilted toward hatefulness, unrighteousness, bondage, and social injustice. As revealed by Ancient history, pride. greed, lust, anger., gluttony, envy, and, sloth, were all culturally acceptable behaviors prior to the Divine revelation of the Mosaic Law at Mount Sinai. Initially and culturally in the Ancient World, these seven deadly sins were being expressed socio/politically as slavery, witchcraft, astrology, magic, cult prostitution, and the worshiping of Baal, the Moon, and the Sun. Consequently, at the onset of civilization, these tolerated, tribal practices fostered a deep ominous world of darkness for the individual soul that set the stage for a religious revolution via Abraham. Likewise, in the modern-world we have our counterparts of the seven deadly sins of evil, as the corporate self-image of its wayward souls is being driven by an aura of guilt, shame, fear, loneliness, alienation, and a sense of meaninglessness. Only the incarnation of Jesus 2000-years ago began to repeal this dark, spiritual aura of Modern Man.

Beginning at this 4th century B.C. juncture of Ancient history, spiritual enlightenment, by way of Abraham, Moses, and later Jesus, must have been Divinely introduced to the ideational, evolutionary process. That’s why, the coming of a Messiah became an urgent step to the survival of the Homo Sapien. In reality, the salvation of the human species, the creation of liberating, civilized societies, along with the ransoming of the individual soul from the sinful and evil plots of temptation, became God’s principal rationale for Jesus’ incarnation. As a result of the Savior’s birth, Mankind became afforded an offer it ought not to refuse. An offer, of hope, freedom, forgiveness, salvation, repentance, justification, sanctification, and redemption for each soul, each society, and for our species-at-large. Through his demonstration of Divine power, Jesus subjugated the dark side of existence. In toto, demons, disease, sin, nature’s whims, and death were conquered by the crucifixion and resurrection. The Cross of the Messiah became love laid open. In His ministry of humility, Jesus featured the Lost, the Least, and the Last. That is, the foolish, the weak, the lowest, and the despised—so that no one can boast of their justification. All of us need to wade in the river of grace in order to survive and fulfill our destinies.

Hence, from this current time forth, to continue to exist as a species, the new ideas, and the new technologies of a new socio/political Era must be modulated, tested, transformed, molded, and surrendered to the message of Jesus. We must always love, not hate. Be spiritually free, not in any form of bondage. Search for righteousness and renounce evil. Seek to personally transcend meaningfully, not abide in chaos. Nor, tread water aimlessly—without purpose. Humankind must enjoy the beauty of Creation, not its ugliness, while living intelligently, not within a cocoon of lunacy. Thus, only the Moral Evolution of Western Man, i.e. the Judeo/Christian tradition, holds any promise for human survival and individual, spiritual fulfillment. Throughout its 1200 pages of Sacred Scripture, i.e. the Bible, are embodied the non-compromising themes and tenets of love, justice, righteousness, and freedom for all who dare apply. The greatest challenge for 21st century generations must be to get their theological and religious ways&means in check and on the right track.

Only truth shall set us free. Truth is objective. Truth is purposive. Truth lies at the source of wisdom. Truth is spiritual. God is truth. God is always wise. God is love. God is holy. And, God is just. Today, as we understand it with our limited cerebrals, these are some of the non-negotiable, unchanging attributes of the Godhead. As already revealed to us, this Divine purity accounted for our intelligent design and ever-evolving, personal creation. In truth, we are made to the image and likeness of our Creator. Our praise, worship, and gratitude, as to be uttered on the Sabbath, must not be compromised with the institutional idolatry, polytheism, and socio/political hypocrisy of Hinduism. Nor, by the hate-filled expressions of Islam. Nor, by the twisted, godless reasoning of Secular Humanism. God is unyielding, steadfast, and adamant on love, justice, goodness, and freedom in both our personal and societal lives.

There have been hundreds of books written about the Judeo/Christian code of belief that is commonly known as the Moral Evolution of Western Man. So, why this book? It’s the 21st century, the onset of a new renaissance; a forthcoming Age that will be challenged by new technologies, expanding options of world travel, a more fulfilling view of the Universe, and greater realization of human rights across the societies of the Globe—all of which might be set within the genetic vision, as it might pertain to the spiritual dynamics of the Human Behavioral Genome. The Presidential election of 2008 represented a fulcrum to our future viability as a nation and as a species. This democratic expression in November 2008 has suggested that the American Empire is in grave danger of annihilation as a political system, not unlike the fall of the Roman Empire. Its election results confirmed that professional experience, political accomplishment, individual character, and moral grit no longer account for the democratic way of life. Barak Obama’s charisma and ideology are strikingly comparable to Marx, Lenin, Stalin, and Hitler. Instead, only political correctness (PC) and political ideology, rather than moral substance and ethical integrity, remain as the appealing criteria for voter choice. America has become obsessed with rock-star politics with non-American themes. Numbed, by the plight, life, and rights of pre-babies and corrupted by the accesses of Liberalism, the political psyche of America is malfunctioning. That’s why, as an innovative counterpoint facing this new tyranny, it seems that only within the moral constraints of the bio/spirit, which ought to guide our bio/politics, can our children’s, pedagogical genetics, along with bio/anthropology, sociobiology, industrial eugenics, and the justifiable yearnings of the Moral Evolution of Western Man, be able to preclude America from tumbling into an abyss of a Dark Age; perhaps, not unlike the Empires of yore, never to morally emerge to Global leadership again.

Thus, within this new, Post-Modern, intellectual/spiritual milieu, situated within the 3rd millennium A.D., shored-up by scores of the ideational accomplishments of the past century, one might wonder: shouldn’t the influential leaders of organized, institutionalized, value systems, who lead and sheppard the souls of Mankind, also call for a far-reaching renewal of both the human mind and soul? With the hundreds of millions of innocent people, who have been murdered by the secular humanists of godless nations of the early 20th century, it seems that our prevailing, religious convictions are in urgent need of a 21st century renewal. The spiritual leaders of Judeo/Christianity should be informing, moralizing, and sermonizing on how the enduring messages of the Moral Evolution of Western Man can stack-up, become enhanced, Globally implemented, and hopefully, reverse the sins of the early 20th century by morally embellishing our 21st century life-and-love styles with fundamental, tried-and-tested, spiritual truth. Only then, can Biblical Scripture be inclined to answer the terms of our identity questions of who, what, where, when, how, and why. Or, be prone to meaningfully reply to: how do these Bible verses help heal the unresolved, adult issues left-over from our teenhood trials; those which are affecting our psyche’s, recurring struggles with independency vs. dependency, intimacy vs. alienation and identity vs. a gnawing sense of self-diffusion. If truth be told, America will only survive as a viable nation, as immersed in universal rights, civil liberties, social justice, and economic parity, if it becomes rededicated to four macro-principles: (1) political conservatism; (2) compassionate capitalism; (3) expanding the socio/political notions, by adding the principles of the genetic vision across the full range of our institutional sinews; and (4) with a national return to the spiritual principles of Judeo/Christianity.

If so, the morally discerning, courageous mind should care less about offending Hinduism and its derivatives; which are no more than idolatrous, polytheistic, ancient, belief caste-systems steeped in false doctrine and bizarre rituals. Or, by offending Islam; a hate-filled creed devised by the deranged mind of the Prophet Mohammed, an illiterate pedophile, who plagiarized most of his Holy book, the Koran that teaches and counsels more about hate than love. Or, by tolerating the limited and pseudo-rationalisms of godless, Secular Humanism. Instead, the 21st century conscience of a morally, courageous soul should concentrate more on pleasing God than appeasing the flawed, theologically tarnished, non-Christian religions of the day.

Soon within a bio/spiritual context, what scholars, writers, and theologians will be appraising and assessing is to make happen the emergence of the next renaissance of human, cerebral enlightenment, including the socio/political incorporation of the relevance of our beliefs in the Moral Evolution of Western Man. If so, then these intellectual/religious scribes will be performing at the cutting, not trailing, edge of human evolution. As example, the information explosion spawned by the Internet, the instant imagery of World-Wide TV, along with affordable access to International, Commercial Air Transport is bound to impact the ins-and-outs of our ethical and moral articles of belief. Surely in potential, by reaching across the latitudes and longitudes of Planet Earth, these info/technologies would be putting us in close proximity with every personal soul abiding within the full family of nations. This technology connotes that an emerging common, credible, value scheme is emerging at the sidelines of culture. History has revealed that knowledge swells, with both the meaningful passage of time and the discovery urges of men and women, when the spiritual legitimacy of freedom, righteousness, justice, and love prevail as a backdrop. To be sure, what has been driving the human, evolutionary processes and its transcendent dynamics are ideas, technology, geo/exploration, and value systems. The Judeo/Christian insight of God’s Nature, His creation design, and Redemption Plan are the only and last hope for an expiring species.

So, how does the Zen effect of Jesus, unadorned and unchanged for two-thousand years, crossover and escalate over a modern-day threshold into a new renaissance of belief, so as to address today’s ideational/technological realities?
