wipe dry your teary eyes,

but about my Savior CHRIST,

to help some to overcome despair

Yesterday

GOD can take a cloud

and let the sun shine through,

GOD can take the grass and weeds

and saturate them with His dew,

GOD can take trouble

and move it’s mountain out of the way,

GOD can cast out demons

and heal the sick like yesterday.

GOD can give us love

to cover a multitude of sin,

GOD can make the blind to see

the lame to walk again,

GOD can take 2 fish

and feed 5000 by His array,

GOD can raise the dead

like He did yesterday

GOD can teach the sheep

sometime they still will go astray,

GOD can give you power to overcome what’s in your way,

although we are undeserving He shows us love always

GOD wants none of us to perish

like He did yesterday…

Just A Tool

What good am I if a person is down

and I can’t help them stand,

it’s not my job to hold them there

if I can’t lend a hand,

when someone is going through something

and trials in life seem hard,

I just want to make a difference

by being a tool in the hand of the Lord,

When people need a shoulder

they can lean on me,

I want to be a light unto their darkened path

so bright that they can see,

I don’t agree with what some people do

it’s not my job to tear them apart,

I just want to make a difference

by being a tool in the hand of the Lord,

Though if you pray to GOD for a garden

pray with a hoe in your hand,

He will bless you more for meeting Him halfway

than always coming with just your plan,

but if I see you laboring and I’m nearby

I will be glad to do my part,

for I just want to make a difference

by being a tool in the hand of the Lord.

There are no words to express

how grateful that I am,

or no scale that I could weigh

my gratitude by the gram,

when I thought no one was there

to carry my problems to,

You were there to lend a hand

You came quickly to my rescue,

today I want to say

a few words that ring so true,

thanks for all You’ve done for me

JESUS CHRIST life to mine,

GOD the merciful creator of time

magnificent the most divine,

there is no other source to go

who pours His grace on us below,

the word that comes to us from old
