One day he goes to cut wood in the forest when a tree tells him that there is a treasure that Manu could get so he can live the life he wants. Manus adventure is set by the hunt for that treasure. Was the treasure there, as the tree had told Manu? Does Manu encounter any dangers during his quest? Does Manu find the treasure?

.D., is a chemistry professor at a state college in USA. She wrote her first story in 2010 for her two nephews, ages 5 and 7. They loved Manu, the main character, so much that she was inspired to write six more adventures of Manu for them. This is her first story to be published. She hopes other children will also enjoy Manu’s adventures as much as her nephews have.

There was once a young boy by the name of Manu. He lived in a small village and worked for a carpenter. He would work during the day and go to the village school at night to study reading and writing. He had no family of his own and sometimes he wished he had a family so he could just go to school, like the other kids, instead of working.
