About this ebook
For each stage of the characters development, there are ideal poems that express feelings and relative events. These poems are the fundamental material that inspired the creation of this short story and are meant to connect people and inspire the fulfillment of our desires.
Aaron Ferro
Aaron Ferro studied film and philosophy at the University of Rhode Island. The inspiration for this book came from his experiences there as well as a series of backpacking ventures. He is a method writer whose mission it is to explore the childlike sense of wonder that he believes is innate within all people. He thinks it important to express ourselves and pursue all we wish to accomplish no matter how seemingly unattainable or unorthodox.

To all of those I have come to meet.
Without you these interesting events in
My life would not have occurred. You have
All, in some way or another inspired me
To record each reality.
Introduction
There comes a time in our lives, especially the early years,
That we seek to define our character. When our choices and
Actions deceive us and cause deviation from our desired selves,
We search for change. Change being the paramount function
Of our volition, allows us to become whatever we imagine. The
Only variable is the decision, rather the faith to make the initial leap.
Let us jump baby birds, shall we fall or fly?
Part 1
Realities
"I am only wise in the regard that I know
What I do not know."
-Socrates-

The woman runs through a darkening forest with the intensity of a red caped Spaniard in a bull fight. As the sun dips below the horizon she resolves to a silhouette, weaving through the contrast of fading light.
Are they still behind me? She thinks while trying to avoid the sea of trees ahead. The sound of stampeding increases in volume and frequency. They can't be that close, she had a major head start. How could they have caught up so quickly?
She notices a cluster of bushes coming up on her left; maybe she could lose them. It would be difficult given their diligence but there aren't many options. Within seconds she plants her right foot and pivots, taking a hard left into the thick bush, diving below eye level.
Slowing her breathing and calming her thoughts, she awaits imminent capture or sweet freedom; two extremes that magnify with each rhythmic cadence of the forest floor. They come within feet of the thicket. The moment of truth has come. Just as she was about to spring
