Unintentionally, there may have been some families left out or some incomplete information on others; for this the author apologizes. Furthermore, is not the intent of the author to offend anyone if some information contain herein seems to be derogatory towards anyone.

Bunyon Keys

I was born on February 23, 1943, and was reared in Blounts Creek. I graduated from S. W. Snowden High School in 1961 and joined the United States Air Force. While stationed near Shreveport, Louisiana, I married the former Dorothy Florence in 1965. Dorothy and I returned to Blounts Creek in June 1989. When I was a boy, my Grandfather, Orlando Keys picture on the front cover(1886-1968), would tell me stories about our family history. It was these stories, perhaps more than anything else, that motivated me to write this book. I dedicate this book to him.
