The author has lived in many parts of India, travelled inside and outside India and has lived through some of the tumultuous times and events that figure in this story. He does not believe that one needs any special credential for being an author, in telling a story, other than being human. Besides having interest in a wide variety of subjects including literature, he has deep interest in the plastic arts viz., drawing, painting etc., and also likes to hear music.
