About this ebook

As we go about the business of the Lord, we fi nd a regular
question among new disciples, When I read the Bible, I
dont understand.
As we looked at this matter, we decided to put forth a small
guide to remedy this situation. It is not meant to replace
the position of the Holy Spirit in Bible study. It is only a
guide. But our ultimate guide to the things of God is the
person of the Holy Spirit.

    Introduction

As food is to the body, so is The Word to the Spirit of a disciple. The word of God is an indispensable factor when we are talking about spiritual growth. It is not an option, but a necessity. It is as compulsory as without it, there cannot be any form of spiritual growth.

As new-born babes, desire the sincere milk of the word that ye may grow thereby. 1Peter 2:2

Young believers must be thought that without the Word in a large measure they cannot make progress in the journey set ahead of them. They must see how helpless they are without the WORD.

All things were made by him [WORD]; and without him was not anything made that was made.

In him [WORD] was life; and the life was the light of men. John 1:3-4 (Emphasis added)
