Exposed: The Raw Thoughts from an Ordinary Life
()
About this ebook
Words. They have an effect on us like nothing else. The words in this book were penned on airplanes, on a bedroom floor during sleepless nights, and after some of the best mountaintop experiences. They are raw and unfiltered words that have been on an ordinary girls heart. However, she knows that God can use the ordinary to do the extraordinary. Let these words inspire you to want to know Jesus deeper and to love him more.

27723.pngDedicated to the generation who will be the change around them and seek to see His kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.
27729.png27723.pngI don’t
know why God allows certain things, but I do know that His glory will always prevail. I do know that He will never leave you in the valley. I do know that He will stand beside you during your darkest nights, and I know the sun will rise again. Without the winter, we would never appreciate the spring and all of the new growth it brings. Beloved, if you haven’t read the end—spoiler alert: Jesus wins, and the enemy is defeated. Suffering may last for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
27729.png27723.pngBeloved, when Jesus says it’s done, it’s done. You don’t need to rehash and stir up the things that He has already forgiven and forgotten. When you gave your life to Christ, the old humanity within you died that day. You are made new. You are not called by your sin, and you are not held captive to shame, but you are free—not just today or when you feel it but forever.
27729.png27723.pngThe thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy. I came that you may have life and have it abundantly
(John 10:10). The enemy wants you to be asleep at the wheel so he can wreck your life. He doesn’t come dressed in a pitchfork and horns, but he comes subtly, disguised as a form of light. Be vigilant and test everything through God’s Word. Beloved, Jesus will always show you truth and lead you to life.
Jesus is never going to let you down, beloved. His purpose for you is far greater than anything you could ever dream. Sink deep into love and dive into the Word, and you will find the meaning you have desperately been searching for. He is good, He is for you, and He is faithful forever. Cling to the cross and never leave.
27729.png27723.pngWhile at the gym, the lady running in front of me had a shirt that read, Take No Days Off.
I’ve seen that expression before, but for the first time it hit me. Do I live like that outside of the gym? Do I love even when it’s not convenient? Do I forgive even when my flesh says to hold a grudge? And do I show kindness to those who can never repay me? Am I a peacemaker when chaos abounds? Do I take no days off from how Jesus has called me to be? Let’s take this mind-set into our everyday lives, and we will see change, because Jesus’s call to living always revolutionizes the culture around it. Take no days off!
Beloved, every day that you get up, you have to prepare to step into the ring. Every day is a fight for your soul and for your mind. The good thing is that you have the best defender in your corner. With Jesus, the battle is already won. He makes you victorious, and He prepares you for everything and anything the enemy might throw at you. Sure, the world may throw a few swings
