Ricky’s Adventure:
A Runaway Raccoon
background.tifRicky the raccoon lives in the mountains of Grizzly Flats. He is wise beyond his years. He watches the humans who live in the wood houses and wonders what that would be like. Ricky has a mom, a dad, two sisters, and two brothers. They sleep during the day, and at night they walked around to all of the houses hoping to find food.
717555_FNL_01.tifRicky, being both wise and adventurous, thought he knew more than his mom and dad—just like most human boys. He would go off by himself to see what he could get into. He went to one house, and the humans there were very nice. They left food for him in a bowl by the door, watched him eat, and laughed. He did not understand why they were laughing, so he ate and ran away.
There is also a house that has a mean dog. Ricky is very careful when going around that house.
