About this ebook

This book clearly explains the biochemical and biophysical process by which the human mind can influence the human body. This book brings out the reality how the disorders and diseases of human body are generated from the human mind. This book is completely capable of exposing how the human emotions and thoughts can influence the human DNA and also explains how our positive and negative emotions affect the physiology of cells of our body differently.

This book clearly reveals how the psychology of the human mind can directly affect the human physiology at macroscopic and microscopic levels in the human body. It also specifically rules out how environment can affect the mind and the cells of the human body. It gives a clear cut concept on the role of perception, beliefs, and emotions in determining the health and disease of the cell. And explains how the perception, beliefs, and emotions of an individual affect the functioning of the cells in his body.

This books rules out the existence of consciousness that brings life into existence in the human body. It also exposes the role of heart in becoming the seat of emotions and also projects out the truth that how the human heart can generate the strongest electromagnetic fields that can influence the functioning of each and every cells of human body. It also explains how these fields can be used to heal physical diseases and disorders. This book also exposes how the human gut can control the brain and emotions. It also explains the role of gut in creating health. This book put forth the secrets of the two independent organs in the human body that can control the human brain and that can create a powerful health in the human body.

This book also introduces the role of electromagnetic fields in the creation of human body and how this field works in functioning of human body at subatomic level. This book exposes the quantum mechanical interaction of molecules in the human body which can clearly explain how the consciousness and mind can influence the DNA molecules independent of time and space.

This book also explains how carbohydrates, amino acids, vitamins, and other fats are essential for the generation of positive health by increasing the raw material for the manufacturing of mood elevating neurotransmitters, neuropeptides, and neurohormones in the brain.

    FOREWORD

Before Reading this valuable book, let me introduce to you the basic concepts of the human body. The human body is comprised of mind, body and consciousness. These three are interlinked and interconnected through a cybernetic loop by which mind, body and consciousness becomes united and interconnected. As a result of this unique connection whatever happens to mind directly affects the body and whatever affects the body directly affects the mind.

    Chapter 1

THE HIDDEN SECRET OF HEALTH AND THE HUMAN BODY

    1850-1950

A series of path-breaking achievements in the health sector took the world by storm. The contributor was none other than modern medicine. The emergence of the germ theory of disease and the success in fighting microbes with more effective and advanced antibiotics helped control the spread of communicable diseases. Again it was during this very period that the world realized that clinical cases like beriberi, pellagra etc. were a manifestation of none other but the deficiency of micronutrients.

Work on finding a solution to endocrinal and metabolic diseases and disorders like diabetes received a shot in the arm with the discovery of the functional aspects of insulin and other hormones. Peptides were developed using genetic engineering to treat these diseases. The medical fraternity had a re-look at the therapeutic approach adopted till then, towards diseases. The realization that apart from the agents causing diseases, the host and the environment also played a key role in the manifestation of a disease saw the birth of community medicine. This in turn took care of the preventive aspects of the various diseases and disorders that prevail in a community. But inspite of this the mechanistic model of medicine did not change for several years until a series of mind-boggling phenomena and cases shook the medical world. The medical fraternity then came to accept a new model of life in the case of human beings.

In 1964, Norman Cousins developed a serious collagen disease commonly known as ankylosing spondylitis. The chances of cure according to his doctors were just 1 in 500. Unable to bear the pain he sought succor in 26 aspirins and 12 phenybutazone tablets. But one day he discovered something shocking. The pain killers were suppressing the adrenal gland the store- house of Vitamin C. His body was being denied the very vitamin essential for repairing and regenerating the collagen tissue. The pain-killers were exhausting him. Putting two and two together Norman Cousins concluded that the pain-killers were providing him only some symptomatic relief but, in actual they were suppressing his body’s natural ability to combat the disease. He argued that Vitamin C would help cure his condition.

Later on an urgent business trip to Russia the stress and strain took its toll on Norman Cousins health. He fell ill and was hospitalized a week after his return. It was at this point of time in his life that he happened to learn about the works of Hans Seyle in psychoneuroimmunology. At that time i.e. in the early 1960s, this branch of medical science was just in the initial stages of development. A seed was sown in Norman Cousins mind. He thought if negative emotions can have a negative impact on the human body then in all probability it was the negative emotions and stress that he underwent that affected his adrenal gland and immune system making him prone to the disease. If so, the mind holds the key to good health. Getting himself discharged from the hospital, he proceeded to a hotel that was comfortable yet not too expensive. He stopped taking the pain-killers and instead started consuming Vitamin C. The comedies on the television kept him company. The result was pleasant - ten minutes of laughter was equal to two hours pain free slumber. Every additional episode of laughter brought down the erythrocyte sedimentation rate by atleast 5 points. The fall was sustained and cumulative. Norman Cousins recorded his experience in tackling his medical condition in a book, ‘Anatomy of an Illness’. The book generated widespread interest leading up to further research on the subject. The studies further contributed to the development of psychoneuroimmunology which is now an important branch of mainstream medicine. In later years researchers discovered that humor lowers cortisol levels and pain thresholds and boosts NK cell activity, physical stress tolerance and overall wellbeing.

The rise of germ theory of disease has seen modern medicine orient itself to a materialistic approach to health management. Louis Pasteur the main proponent of germ theory of disease won acclaim and moved on to become a scientific hero of modern medicine. Pasteur and his colleagues ridiculed Pasteur’s arch rival Dr. Claude Bernard’s alternative theory of infectious disease which emphasized on the terrain and host resistance. However, when the end was near and there were no more laurels to be won, Pasteur conceded that Bernard was right, terrain was everything.

The approach of modern medicine has been to focus completely on symptom suppression based on pathological events occurring in the human body. Though the pathology of diseases is the same, the expression of signs and symptoms varies from individual to individual. Drugs prescribed for a particular disease may have varied results in different individuals,
