Dr. Sturdivant is a long time resident of Alabama. She studied at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. She graduated with her Doctorate in Counselor Education in 1990. In addition to writing, Dr. Sturdivant travels frequently and currently works in the field of mental health.
