About this ebook
Jessie Heavener
Born the daughter of Jewish parents in the colorful and Catholic crescent city of New Orleans, Jessie Heavener is petite, dark-eyed and effervescent. A thoughtful child from an early age, Jessie loved writing, especially writing poetry. As an adult, she became a Messianic Jew, one who is Jewish by heritage but Christian by choice. Of her religious decision, she says, I feel honored and privileged to have been given the opportunity to learn of Jesus Christ. He is my beloved Saviour and Wayshower. I am also proud of my Jewish heritage. I have been confronted by many problems in my long life, but God has never failed to comfort me. I have basked in the light of His presence.
