Credulous - Edith Stein Zelig
In my childhood
When I was a child I used to ask my mother to tell me a story, or sing me a song, and no matter how tired she was, she did because she loved us, my sister and me.
I think most parents fulfill that task, telling stories to their children, I did too. And so I let kids know, that parents tell stories because they love them.
A large quest
Mama Mama sing me a song
the one, I always want,
the story about your glory
how did you find me, and
how do you love me & guard me
And when I grow up I’ll be loving you
and guarding you mama,
I shall sing to you, and tell stories
to my children and you about them
and their glories, on the road of’
fruits & victories.
A SHORT AUTOBIOGRAPHY
My artist name is Edith Stein Zelig Author of the published poetry book Gallant Poetry
Belles Words Of Freedom. INDISPENSABLE CORRESPONDENCE
Correlating Letters, CREDULOUS
stories for children, and the next to be published is the Autobiography.
I’m a Citizen of The United States Of America, of European decent. A Survivor; educated in several countries of the world, in NY City I took intense English language courses, attended art courses in National Academy of Design School of Arts, and courses of The Art Historian. I’m a well known visual Artist in painting and poetry. I have a child and two grandchildren.
My first story for children was The Doll Makers, in this collection. I composed it in 1943, when I was a child myself. My life in Fascist era was difficult, I was not allowed to attend school because of my religious believes, but my education did not stop with that awesome historical time; the best possible way, I continued with my education.
After the second world war, I left my Native Country to settle in Israel, it was on a ship with lots of people, jammed in cubicles which was just enough to lay straight in. Caught on the sea, and howled to Cyprus to a concentration camp.
I learned about life in Cyprus during the eight months of my stay, enough to begin my existence as an adult, it was difficult and it was done. I worked and I learned, I learn agriculture, I worked in child’s day care and learned child’s psychology, I learned languages, and art.
In US, I took part in Poetry Contests, Library Of Poetry & The International Poetry Society, awarded by: The National Library Of Poetry & International Poetry Society. My Poetry book stored with Library Of Congress, Poets House Library, The New York Public Library, The New York Poetry Society Library, The Smithsonian Modern Art, and The Modern Museum Of Art.

THE DOLL MAKERS
CHAPTER ONE
THE DOLL MAKERS
THE STORY IS THIS:
In a Nation which could be anywhere in the world lived a young woman and a young man, her name was Sabrina, in short Rina, his name was, Santony, in short Tony.
Tony and Rina. knew each other from the school they attended, they loved each other, so they were in-love, it was a great love and so they got married.
Shortly after they got married they set themselves up to build a doll factory. So they became doll makers.
At first they built the factory which constituted a large working-room with windows, an office and a storage room with lots of shelves.
In the office they planned and designed the pattern for the dolls, this room had a desk, pencil, paper and eraser. In the other room, which is the workshop, here they made the dolls wholesome, in here they placed a huge table called work desk, a large sewing machine, scissors, thread and needles, cutting knife, and a saw, glue, and fill-in materials, such as wood-shredding, plastic foam, wool and cottonballs, here they also stored the paint and all kind of fabric silks, and velvet, all shining and tantalizing colors.
There were other materials such as wood, rubber, plastic and iron, serving the very construction of the dolls, when they were ready’ they were all stored in the storage room.
The Paint was needed to color the doll faces and bodies, choices of all colors were in abundance; white, blue, black, yellow, green purple, red, gray and more.
Tony and Rina worked hard in order to make enough money for them and their future children, they knew they are going to have.
