A Journey to Remember - Jai Narayan

    GRAND CANYON

    Thou art a super creation

Of a timeless work of a river,

    Zigzagging in downward quest,

    Tortuously eroded thee,

Into a most intricate works of art!

    As a Nature’s living wonder,

    With unmatched grandeur on earth,

    Basking in peace and solitude.

The river with its copious waters

    Roars dangerously between thy walls,

    Boisterously on downward journey.

Thou art a Nature’s mystic canyon,

Once I stood on thy rim

And my legs trembled with fear!

Yet I managed to see thy charm

In the vastness of thy silence.

The river’s eternal works of art,

    How magnificent is thy name:

    Grand Canyon of the Golden
