The investigation that I started in 2003 had shown the presence of ten inexcusable, prohibitive and fatal mistakes in design of these buildings.

It terrorist attack did not happen on September 11, 2001, one of WTC-1 or WTC-2 building collapsed by day in nearest years graving nearly 40,000 victims.

Konstantin Radtchenko

Konstantin Radtchenko was born in December 1923 in Soviet Union. In 1940 in Kharkov he had finished High School and continued his education in Machine- Building Institute. In 1950 he was graduated Master degree in Rolling and Drawing and was sent to Sverdlowsk on Ural Heavy Machine Work. In 1960 he relocated to Kramatorsk in Research Institute and in 1961 to Kyiv in Institute of Automation. He was graduated as “Candidate of Technical Science”, Moscow, 1965 (equivalent USA Ph.D.) and as “Senior Scientific Worker”, Moscow, 1968. In 1969-1979 he worked in Academia of Ukrainian Science. In 1986 family of K.Radtchenko immigrated in USA.

In result of terrorist attack on September 11, 2001 that caused fire WTC-1 and WTC-2 buildings collapsed.

This event caused the collection of comments and especially the comments of leading structural engineer M-r Leslie E. Robertson that wrote in his article "Reflections on the World Trade Center: The events of September 11, however, are not well understood be me . . . and perhaps cannot really be understood by anyone" and M-r G. Corley, the director of the original investigation that wrote:

It was proven that you could take out two thirds of the columns in a tower and the building would still stand.

It was very interesting that M-r Leslie E. Robertson, leading structural engineer admitted that he did not know why collapse of WTC-1 and WTC-2 buildings happened.

Also, it was very interesting that M-r G. Corley, the director of the original investigation said that it was proven that you could take out two thirds of the columns in a tower and the building would still stand.

The investigation that was made by me had shown that by incorrect chosen area 89'x139' and location for internal, or core columns caused the overload of perimeter corner core columns. By unexpected fire after terrorist attack on September 11, 2001 warmed to difference of temperature between adjacent two to four floor-trusses had broken nearest to fire perimeter corner core column, triggering collapse of WTC-1 and WTC-2 buildings.

Only elimination of one perimeter corner core column, that was broken by warmed floor-trusses 35' and 60' long which were supported simultaneously by this column caused collapse of WTC-1 and WTC-2 buildings.

Therefore information of M-r G. Corley, the director of the original investigation that it was proven that ‘elimination of two thirds of the columns in a tower and the building would still stand’ was wrong.

The present of unexpected fire that warmed floor-trusses 35' and 60' long simultaneously supported by perimeter corner core columns within calculated time equal 35.5 minutes caused collapse of one of perimeter corner core columns, than collapse of core columns of one floor and collapse of WTC-1 and WTC-2 buildings.

The collapse of WTC-1 and WTC-2 buildings started after collapse only one perimeter corner core column in every building.

Author of this article at least understood why collapse of WTC-1 and WTC-2 buildings happened.

Written article below will show how after terrorist attack on September 11, 2001 and caused fire WTC-1 and WTC-2 buildings collapsed as wrong designed graving additional 2,200 more victims.

The reason of investigation that WTC-1 and WTC-2 buildings collapsed after terrorist attack on September 11, 2001 and caused fire as wrong designed triggering dead of additional 2,200 more victims.

In 2003 I started the investigation of the collapse of WTC-1 and WTC-2 buildings after terrorist attack on September 11, 2001 and it was clear that events of this tragedy had the connection between separate events starting in far 60-ties.

Originally it was the impression, that coincidence of separate events had not the connection between. But, later was clear that within late 60-ties to September 11, 2001 after terrorist attack and later was existed the connection which can be considered as the conspiracy.

The designers of this conspiracy at my opinion included in design of WTC-1 and WTC-2 buildings weakest element of design: perimeter corner core columns.

The weakness of these perimeter corner core columns were created by the designers of this conspiracy that had in considered buildings having cross-section area equal 209'x209' provided for internal or core columns area equal 89'x139'.

Between external and internal or core columns were located elements of floor-trusses 6.67'x35' and 6.67'x60' (in plan). These elements of floor-trusses were fixed by external columns, by one side, and also fixed by internal or core columns, by other side.

Thus, was created the location having area 89'x139' where were located 45 internal or core columns with the same cross-section. As result by chosen construction perimeter corner core columns supporting simultaneously floor-trusses 35' and 60' long were overloaded and had compressive stresses in these columns equal yield stresses.

It is clear if area for internal or core columns was chosen equal 209'x139' or 89'x209' corner core columns disappeared and all perimeter internal or core columns were never overloaded.

It fully excluded after terrorist attack similar to terrorist attack on September 11, 2001 and caused fire the collapse of WTC-1 and WTC-2 buildings.

It seams to me that the location having area 89'x139' and having 45 internal or core columns with the same cross-section was created special.

Thus, since late 60-ties was existed the conspiracy. Members of this conspiracy created design of WTC-1 and WTC-2 buildings ready to collapse at any requested time by present in buildings unexpected fire, or to collapse in the future in the time known by members of this conspiracy.

Later I did understand that design of WTC-1 and WTC-2 buildings had minimum ten inexcusable, prohibitive and fatal mistakes.

It is known that any designer is able to make unwillingly by design of any subject one-two mistakes, but not ten inexcusable, prohibitive and fatal mistakes that were made deliberately.

Really number of deliberately made mistakes was more than ten.

As professional engineer in plastic deformation of metals I could not suppose that professional structural engineers were able to make unwillingly ten inexcusable, prohibitive and fatal mistakes and more other mistakes in design of WTC-1 and WTC-2 buildings.

In result of the presence of these mistakes constructed on begin of 70-ties WTC-1 and WTC-2 buildings were doomed to collapse in future without terrorist attack and without unexpected fire.

Terrorist attack on September 11, 2001, when seized by terrorists planes impacted WTC-1 and WTC-2 buildings and caused fire, these buildings collapsed graving additional 2,200 more victims and also graving footprint of inexcusable, prohibitive and fatal mistakes in design of WTC-1 and WTC-2 buildings.

Thus, terrorist attack on September 11, 2001, created and realized by terrorists fully excluded correct investigation by FBI.

Different authors after September 11, 2001 published some articles in which the collapse of WTC-1 and WTC-2 buildings was considered as Controlled demolition of these buildings that was made by Administration of USA.

The investigation of author has shown that only Controlled demolition of lower chord of floor-trusses within 50 minutes after terrorist attack was able to save these buildings from the collapse.

Mistake #1. Designing high-rise buildings of World Trade center designers changed known Steel-frame high-rise buildings to Steel-span high-rise buildings.

The change of design from Steel-frame high-rise buildings to Steel-span high-rise buildings also changed the distribution of Dead and Live load caused by floor-trusses between external and core (internal) columns. In result of distribution of Dead and Live load perimeter corner core columns were significantly overloaded.

Unexpected fire after terrorist attack on September 11, 2001 caused the warming and the extension of floor-trusses 35' and 60' long that had broken nearest to fire perimeter corner core column triggering collapse of other core columns of this floor and the collapse of WTC-1 and WTC-2 buildings.

Mistake #2. By Steel-span high-rise buildings Dead and Live load of floor-trusses 35' and 60' long supporting by external and perimeter core columns were distributed between these columns not uniformly.

In considered case Dead and Live load of 12 perimeter core columns (except perimeter corner core columns) supporting floor-trusses 60' long was 1.36÷1.48 times larger than Dead and Live load of 8 perimeter core columns (except perimeter corner core columns) supporting floor-trusses 35' long.

By unexpected fire on September 11, 2001 warmed floor-trusses 60'
