About this ebook

I had rheumatic fever as a child. I read all I could find on my illness when I
was 14. I didnt like what I read. I might have had a different life if I didnt
read what I did. Ive done a lot of things in my life Im not proud of, but I
would only change one.
My guidance counselor in high school said I should think about becoming a school
teacher. I didnt even consider it. Later in life, I thought it would have been nice
to have summers off.
I would never have thought I would ever write a book. I went to welding school,
so I believe Im more qualified to write a book than Beck or Hannity. Ive got to
have a higher IQ. More important, I care about America.

America, we have well over a ten trillion national debt. Our economy is in the poorest condition since 1945. We are fighting wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

So, where are we headed after eight years of G.O.P. president, G.W. Bush being the DECIDER making the BIG decisions??? A Russian professor is making a prediction that the United States will break up into four or six sections and that Alaska, which we purchased from Russia back in 1867 for about seven million, will go back to being a part of Russia.

Why would a professor from Russia think something like this could happen to America? Russia has been there done that. Russia in my younger years was the U.S.S.R or Soviet Union.

In the eighties, the Soviet Union, a super power, was having very bad economic problems, after fighting a nine year war in Afghanistan and trying to keep up with America in a cold war since 1945. The Soviet Union couldn’t keep up. They went bankrupt, like Chapter 11; the super power had to down size.

The wall came down. East and West Germany became one country again. Many satellite countries that were part of the Soviet Union were allowed to rule themselves. The former U.S.S.R., a super power, went back to being called Russia by the rest of the world.

Russia was not the greatest place to live before the collapses of the Soviet Union, but it was much worse for years after. What happened in Russia is history.

History is a chance to learn from the past. If you saw someone try to beat a train at a rail road crossing and they lost, would you ever try it?? I think if you had any common sense at all you wouldn’t. Our presidents have many advisors to give advice. It’s sad but it seems none of the G.O.P. administrations, advisors under G.W. Bush, knew much about history. Maybe, if they did and had a little commons sense, our economy wouldn’t have gotten hit by this train.

I caught the end of a GOP news sitcom saying history will look back on G.W. Bush and say he was a good president and helped our country. I’ve lived through 12 presidents, and I’m sorry but George W. Bush has got to be the worst.

If a history book were to ever say that G.W. Bush was a good president, the book would probably be published by a company owned by the same person who owns News Corp., Rupert Murdoch. He made a lot of money because of history. He saw what people were making money doing and he did the same. He got a lot of his ideas from what worked for Ted Turner.

Walter Cronkite and Mike Wallace, in my younger days, these were some of the news journalist I watched. They would tell me what was going on in America and the world. I got the who, what, when, where and why. After watching any news show, back then, I never thought I had to check the facts of any thing that they said. I remember asking my dad if we were democrats or republicans. He said democrats, we are not rich enough to be republicans, paused then added it doesn’t really matter their all a bunch of liars.

Politics, unlike the news shows hasn’t changed much since my younger days. I’m not a politician. I liked some of John McCain’s ideas. I liked more of Obama’s. Regardless, the G.O.P. has put our country in the crapper. They may be out of power, but they are still trying to flush. If both parties think being in power is more important than fixing our country, we are in big trouble.

If you see a politician or anybody on the media tell you to call your representative and tell them you want or don’t want this or that, which is what you should do, you elect the politicians you can un-elect them. If you call your senator representative, make sure you know if what you’re telling them to do or not to do is going to help you and not just help the person who wants you to call your representative.

Don’t be mislead! G.W. Bush said many times. I lowered taxes, or I lowered your taxes. He did lower the taxes, but unless you are in the 4% or 5% of the top money earners, he didn’t cut your taxes.

You’re told if you take the Bush tax cuts away from this 5 %, small business will be hurt and they won’t hire workers. What are you hearing on the news? Companies are laying off employees and our unemployment is the highest it’s been in 45 years. The bush tax cuts were not stopped.

They didn’t have bush’s tax cuts during the Clinton years. During those years, we had low unemployment and small businesses did fine. How does a small business make money and grow to make more money? They sell a product or service to the average worker. The more the average worker has to spend means he can buy more from the small business.
