THE GAIA HYPOTHESIS

Ahh… Earth, majestic mountains, lush rain forests, vast thriving oceans, climatic extremes of every type, geological marvels of nature’s mastery and mystery. It’s a wonder that our fragile race of humanity has thrived in this environment for so many millennia. Planetary changes, upheavals cataclysmic in their magnitude, have wiped out several ancient cultures and civilizations of long ago, only to reveal lush new environments for humanity to survive and thrive in, aiding and nurturing man, again to advance and evolve.

There’s only one kink in the majesty of this wondrous experience; IT’S NOT REAL!! Since time immemorial, man has pondered his own existence, only to conclude that just because we can hear, see, taste, smell and feel this amazing life within the big, blue marble still does not mean that our existence is absolute reality. Individual perception, dreams, thought are all products of the mind. But where do all these phenomena of experience come from? Are we the thinker, or the thought? Do our eyes see, or does the mind? Who are we if not our own bodies? Where are we if we cannot be found within our own mind?

First Obvious signs the Earth was a live Being

• Storms, crawling things and beasts

• Ocean cycles, moon cycles and all life in their seasons

• Volcanic eruptions, earthquakes

The Egyptians, and today even the Mormans believe that when they pass to the next existence, that they may by the grace of God transcend to the status of Planetary Logos (a soul that is human now may than move up to ensoul an entire planet). However, I can’t reason how killing all of your servants, locking up all of your treasures, and having your body disemboweled and mummified constitutes ascension. But this is not entirely without merit. In 1979, James Lovelock revealed to the public ‘The Gaia Hypothesis’ stating that the earth was a living, breathing and thinking planet! Before his controversial theory was made public, a Russian scientist by the name of Verdansky also attested to this theory, way back in 1929! There are many accounts, from the Far East, India, Egypt… through the Dark Ages when the Druids worshipped Mother Nature.
