Frederick S. Grossman Jr.
Frederick (Fritzie) Grossman was born and raised in Northern Minnesota, where he currently resides . He joined the U.S. Navy in 1965 and served on the US Montrose, APA 212 on a Landing Craft in Viet Nam. After the Service he graduated from Nazarene Bible College and International Seminary. He also attended Bemidji State University for 2 V2 years. He currently is co-owner with his wife Mary, and daughter, Jennifer Carrigan, of First Choice Specialized Service s , Inc. in Cohasset, Minnesota. Frederick Grossman has written about 2000 poems in the past 25 years, and has had many published. He has written mostly for his own enjoyment but now, at the urging of family, friends and Counselor, has decided to publish those related to war in hopes of helping other Veterans. He has been diagnosed with PTSD, which is currently in remission, and has drawn upon his own experiences and those of family members and friends as he has written his poetry.
