"The Driver" puts readers in the shoes of a nameless character left to take care of their younger sister upon their mother's disappearance. Strapped for cash and struggling to keep the house in order, the nameless character must make a drastic decision to get what they need.

"Precious" is a humorous story that follows Jason as he prepares a surprise dinner for his girlfriend, Alyssa. When her dog gets hungry and takes matters into its own paws, the special evening is potentially ruined.

"Dissimulate" follows a married couple, Leonard, and Meredith. After years of trying to get pregnant, Leonard finds out his wife has secretly been using birth control the entire time. Now, they must try to salvage their marriage.
