About this ebook
Welcome to real social change and the American story, supported by two hundred rare images from 1940 to 1970.
Hi, I'm Greg. I've built solutions for the Healthcare, Telecom/Media, Pharmaceutical, Banking, and Education industries. Now it's 2021, and meeting the demand for fact-based history and social transformation is critical. 1963 uses rare historical images to build an audience for social change.
It's a trifecta—returning history, using technology to connect communities, and presenting two hundred rare historical images. It's a new American journey, a digital wagon train. Considering where we are today, the timing is perfect. Remember, without understanding and owning history, generations will repeat the same mistakes. History has value and we have to protect it. But, history can't just be a dusty old book. 1963 uses digital storytelling to introduce photojournalism, core values, and offer a platform guaranteed to drive discussion and collaboration.
How did I get here? Technology consultants don't normally build community or civic solutions. Well, I love building things. I was gutting an investment property and found a box of vintage memories stored away for 60 years. Someone saved history—memories from one of America's most turbulent periods. I decided to take those memories and add my own.
Now it's time to start the conversation and move our history to the American National Archives for future generations. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Be the change—join me.
For libraries, churches, schools, and families, bring me your young and inquisitive—let's give them back their history and teach them how to work together.
