The artists gateway to creativity. This collection of short stories was written to ignite the flame of passion as we awaken and recognize our divine qualities through creativity. Creativity can help focus and calm the mind and show you the importance of what is being told; these stories were written with that in mind. The Anime Sampler has a total of 9 stories which all center on various feelings of self discovery and self love. Our actions define who we are and our thoughts paint the path of truth. Guided journeys come to an end and that is when you will truly end and reflect or reflect and start again.

Tiena Prater

Tiena Prater was born and raised in Ohio. Tiena studied Creative Writing for Fine Arts at Full Sail University. However, she was crafting stories long before that. She started writing when she was 5; writing fanfiction before she knew the proper terminology. Space science piqued her interest and helped inspire many poems, short stories and other works of literature. Anime was the basis of her vast worldly creations. She has since ventured into multiple different genres and written various different pieces ranging from poems and short stories to novels and scripts. She has self-published multiple projects on an online and print platform. Her main objective is to promote mental health awareness and creativity in others through storytelling. “Imagination has taught me: you can have everything, even if only for a moment... and so I hope to inspire the next generation to be better, dream better, create better stories than anyone existing in the time before them.”

As a creative writer I’ve found solace in creating my own worlds and watching the stories unfold inside of them. Each character is special and serves their own purpose. Writing has been a secret satisfying truth that always and continues to deliver.

When you don’t make time for the things that you love, they haunt you like ghost. I can no longer count on one hand, the times my characters or story ideas have knocked on the walls of my mind, sometimes burst open the door of creativity and told me to, SIT DOWN AND WRITE! Because once an idea is lost, you run the risk of it being lost forever. Lost in the void of nothingness until it finally manifests and becomes something again.

Sometimes we forget that being human is not all of who we are and not all that there is.

Make sure you continue creative conversations. Continue to dream, continue to create. Because if we stop, life stops. If no one ever continues the conversation about the importance of mental health and the link with creativity and being creative, then nothing will change. This collection of short stories is meant to ignite the fire of passion. There are voices that need to be heard. I’m helping that unheard voice; that silenced voice. Start talking about the things unheard, the things that aren’t said.

The best revelation, is there are no right and wrong answers, there is only your answer in a creative world. Your voice will not be silenced.

This book is in special dedication to my favorite muse, whose soul became Godly. And I didn’t realize it until my new muse presented himself. To divine interactions past, present and future: My mind thanks you.
