My view in life is, if you care for others as you would like to be cared for yourself, be a good custodian to all living things and the well-being of our planet.
If my books can give the readers enjoyment, hope, that inspires the mind and make them eager to read the next book in the series, but also to send a message to be compassionate and caring towards others and our wonderful wildlife and habitats, then I am a happy man.
Dedications
To those wonderful pets who I have had the honour to call my friends, the pleasure to have known them, my soul buddies, and companions in life, especially those that recently passed away to Layla, Troy, Libby and Bramble, and those wonderful pets that have gone before, miss you all so much, and God Bless you.
To those wonderful people and organisations, the indigenous tribes who care for the animals, plants and habitats that we share with, thank you.
To all those animal lovers who have lost their wonderful pets, to their current pets, and the wonderful wildlife of our amazing world, who we share with, thank you, the world would not be the same without all of you.
To my family, to our beloved Honey and Ollie, my good friends, the amazing Facebook friends across the world, work/business colleagues current and past, to the various societies that I am a member.
But also to thank the publisher Austin Macauley and their fantastic staff from the bottom of my heart for making this dream come true.
To also thank the amazing singers, composers who have written such wonderful music for such outstanding films, and also for general release to the public, thank you.
Finally to those who have departed, the family members, friends and past work colleagues, that I have had the great pleasure of knowing, may you rest in eternal peace, you are now in the celestial heaven.
To the few native indigenous tribes that are now left, this must be very upsetting to them to see such actions committed by a few selfish people, to harm so many habitats and the wonderful wildlife, these tribes, especially have been the guardians of the various habitats and animals, that share their world, since time, we honour them.
But there is hope that we may be able to turn the planet around for the benefit of all, to help our fellow animals, and the varied plant life, habitats that we share with, and once again become good custodians, I pray 2020 is the year we all make the change, after the heavy human and animal casualties in the world fires, and now coronavirus which is attacking the human race.
There are many people in this world including the wildlife conservationists, the general public, the indigenous tribes who all care passionately about their world, acting as good custodians in the caring of our planet, including the vast array of such wonderful species of animals, plants, and the varied and truly amazing habitats.
I believe we should all able to live in harmony with nature and to use the precious resources wisely; but be able to put back what you have already taken out in a managed and resourceful way, without any detrimental effect to the environment, and those around.
But unfortunately we have those people, who are only interested in greed and profit, and caring nothing for the overall impact, their actions have on the wildlife, the habitats, the environmental consequences, and the overall effect on the human population, when extracting any form of the precious natural resources whether it be material, plant or mineral, in uncontrollable quantities, also the harming of all animals whether for sport, trophy etc., for their own selfish gains, profits, and greed.
How can you tell a child, and then look them in the eye and say that there was tigers, dolphins, the great apes and monkeys, birds of paradise, elephants, leopards, rhinos, butterflies, bees, stick insects, whales, birds of prey, hummingbirds, wolves, lizards, frogs, newts, snakes, lions, meerkats, parrots, seals, sea cows, horses, grasshoppers, ducks, dragonflies, giraffes, bears, pandas, kangaroos, gazelles, lemurs, yak, musk ox, goats, cattle, thrusts, pelicans, crocodiles, seahorses, deer, zebras, trout, pike, salmon, cod, sticklebacks, ants, hares, bats, owls, to name but a few.
That there once was rain forests, moorlands, grass plains, Arctic ice caps, deserts, oceans, seas, rivers, ponds, were once these wonderful creatures and varied plant life that lived including ferns, pines, oaks, willows, brambles, an array of various fruit trees, tuberous plants, and shrubs, cereals, vegetables, orchids, cactus, grasses, bromeliads, carnivorous plants, various flowering bulbs, herbs, herbaceous plants, to name but a few.
This story tells of a race of people, whose aim is to replenish the world, under their stewardship, and custodianship; they are the guardians of all life, they are the Atlanteans.
The armada of ships from their homeland Atlantis are now ready to embark on their journey to the new lands, the coast of Africa, there to start their new lives, with their precious cargos, supported by their immortal guardians of the earth, fire, water and air.
As the ships are ready to set forth, with their sails ready to unfold, showing on them their sacred bird and emblem of Atlantis; the yellow crested imperial eagle, held high regard by the Atlanteans people.
Sails now in readiness to catch the sea breeze, and to take the armada of ships on their voyage to the African mainland that will be the Atlanteans new home.
(Opening theme from the Long Ships (1964) film).
I dedicate this story to those of the human race who strive to help conserve our wonderful planet whether it be on their own merit, or the many forming various conservation projects/organisations whose aim is to protect the various wildlife, habitats, the indigenous tribes, and to live in harmony with mother nature.
We are only custodians of the planet and not Gods.
I also dedicate this story to Layla our faithful black and white German shepherd who died from cancer, who has given and will give that ray of hope to the victims of cancer be they human or animal, and also acting as an ambassador/guardian for the global wildlife conservation, may she forever be that ray of light, hope, compassion, caring and sharing for the good of all.
To all the other pets we have lost including to Troy the German shepherd, I will truly miss your cuddles and playfulness a wonderful dog who suddenly died in May 2017, to Libby the Lilac Siamese cat who was nearly 20 and died in November 2017, a very affectionate cat and loved to be stroked, miss that purring sounds and those beautiful blue eyes and shortly after the loss of our wonderful rabbit called Bramble, I will miss those cuddles, the brown eyes, a very special rabbit. May all of you be at peace until the time when we will be reunited again?
The world would not be the same without the wonderful wildlife and amazing habitats that we all share.
Final dedications to my mum Alecia, my father David, Oliver, our pets Oliver (Ollie) the German Shepherd, Honey the Labrador, and the wild rabbit, and all the wonderful pets unfortunately gone but will always be remembered in our hearts.
To my friends, past and present work colleagues, Pets at Home especially the Bicester team thank you, the orchid societies in the UK and overseas, to His Holiness Pope Francis and the Catholic Church, to friends in the various religious denominates. The armed forces and the Police, Forces Support, Greenpeace, Leprosy charity, Burnham Nurseries, Orchid Alchemy, Laneside Hardy Orchids, Phasmid Study Group, Buckingham Nursery. Preston Bissett Nursery, the PDSA, Battersea dogs home, WWF, Cancer Research UK, BBONT, RSPB, the Blue Cross, RSPCA, Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary, the various banks, building societies and the business’s contacts over the years, past and present a big thank you, a very, very special thank you especially to Austin Macauley Publishers team who have helped to make this dream come true, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
The many charities that help the wildlife, numerous animal sanctuaries, the amazing conservation bodies working hard to safe and care for the animals and habitats in their charge across the globe, the various religious faiths and the organisations that help humans whether it be the disabled, the vulnerable, the ex-service/veterans, the life threatening, the homeless, the young and the old, we need more care, compassion, kindness, love, to share, and give hope. To be able to embrace our fellow human and our wildlife with kindness it just so deserves, and also to act as good custodians in this world our home. I pray that one day that this may happen, so can we make 2021 the year of change, we need this to happen my friends as this is our only home, our planet, our earth.
Also a very special dedication to Sir David Attenborough.

he story begins as the passengers and crew on board the imperial ships are about to set sail on their epic adventure to a new continent and leaving behind their homeland.
All the people on board are by now very emotional, knowing that this will be the last time that they will ever see their family and friends; but also knowing that the sacrifices they have made is for the greater cause, to help what is left of the last fragments of the human race, outside of Atlantis.
Their goals will be to rebuild and recolonise the rest of the world, with the help of the ark of life, the animals and plants on board the ships, and the support of a number of the guardians who will accompany them, guiding them and protecting them.
As they are watched on by the large numbers of people, by now congregated at the harbour quayside to say their final farewells, waving them goodbye, and to send them on their journey.
Those watching on, including their much-beloved Emperor Tao and the imperial family, Basu leader of the guardians, Lord Amon who instigated this very special journey, in memory of the loss of his two very special friends Christopher and David; who helped him back safely to Atlantis, knowing that they would never return to their homeland.
With the blessing, consent, and support of the other twelve high lords, the council of twelve, and the guardians of air, fire, water, and earth.
Watching on was the rarely seen, the most venerable and highly respected young guardian, second only to Basu, his name is Symeon, robed in grey and yellow, with two of his dire wolves by his side, Khan (Turkish name meaning a king/ruler) a grey timber coloured male with deep brown eyes, and Terra (named after the Roman earth goddess) a pure white coloured female with pale blue eyes. They are his alpha male and female of the dire wolf pack that he keeps back in his homeland to the north.
As for Symeon, he is a kind and gentle, well respected, especially by all within the temples. He practices as a mystic, a spiritualist, an herbalist, and a great magician, but he also has the inherent powers to predict; who can see into the past as well as into the future, a grandmaster of the martial arts. He lives in the northern part of Atlantis, high up in the great mountain range. He very rarely travels outside his home unless requested by his master Basu and his beloved Emperor.
Next to Symeon were two warriors robed in grey and hooded, so to hide their faces, their names are Raphael and Ross, and they are Symeon’s personal escort, along with his favoured and devoted two dire wolves, Khan and Terra.
Also watching at the harbour quayside, was Ankh Lord High Priest of the temple of the sun with some of the members of the priesthood, Commander Jacob and Captain Hugo.
There was also Riccardo Grand Master of the temple of life and some members of the Maji, then Symeon’s brother Simon keeper of the elementals and overseer of the training of all of the Maji warriors, and Seth keeper of the arks of life.
Then there were the various other members of the high council representing the seven races of Atlantis, next to them was also the High Seeress Grace with some of her seeress from the temple of the moon.
Then, there were the commanders and some of their officers with detachments of
