Laughing in Your Dreams, Crying in Your Sleep - Rosey Frost
Introduction
Laughing in Your Dreams, Crying in Your Sleep is a book of poems decades in the making. This work is a complete compilation of the poetic ventures of Ian Rosey
Frost, who began writing poetry in the late 70s.
Frost quickly gained national attention after a series of his works were published by a variety of poetic symposiums both on the east coast and the west. Within three years, he had attained notoriety in some of the most prestigious circles of the art form. He maintained quality consistence in his endeavors that landed him numerous honors and awards. (See Addendum)
In 1982, Frost was informed by the Library of Congress; his work was recognized in the top one percentile of contemporary popular American poetry. This honor is yearly reserved for only approximately 150 authors devoted to the preservation of the American poetic tradition.
Frost has two degrees in the English language, Old English Literature and American Journalism. He was most active with the art form from 1976 (the American Bicentennial) to 1995.
From love to hate, sonnet to free verse, it is a cross-section of everything needed in a book of poems. There is something for every reader to embrace, but mostly it is a venture to preserve literary tradition.
I really must stop writing now, and yes, I have my reasons. I really do encourage you now, to go ahead and read even further. It offers a great chance to really forget the weather. My fervent hope is this book of verse will provide a source of joy that accompanies you throughout all of your seasons.

Breath for the people, God as my witness, God as my judge, and give us; The courage, to live in peace this day.

The Sonnets
Soul of Dimension
Nature of reality,
Abstract thought,
As all is his mind;
Metaphysical subtlety,
Answers sought
And found within his mind;
Fleeting times, now past fury
As natural catches
Supernatural time;
Separate dimension of the soul
Reaching high, meta-man so bold
Cosmology, universal mold,
Related as prophecy foretold
A man’s of many ‘true’ claims to the world.
After a Summer Shower
As summer rains rest,
Grey fog, the trees
crest,
On path to the
cottage,
Awakened lovers plod green, marshy mire,
Wicked shoes soaked desire;
When coy resistance expires,
Two hearts burn fervid fire,
Through thick foliage,
Trem’bling submission rests
Craving tender caress,
Rushing toward love’s labor,
To cool, scented chamber.
